I am interested to see if anyone has participated in Drum Corps because I am pretty guaranteed to be going, as long as I can raise the money. I'm gonna be weaponline in a Division III Drum Corp. Has anyone marched DC before?

i really want to do it too, but i dont think i have time at all while in high school......maybe when i start college.....my coach wanted to do it, but she's turning 23 this spring, and said that the age limit is 22.....i still have time....i expect i'll just be doing flag work because i have never touched a rifle or sabre...
Inara_Lenza said she was in drum corps...

that would be amazing to be in it..but same here, i have to wait until college crying
do you know if they let people who want to be in weaponline join even if they never worked with anything besides flags? sweatdrop
i remember an old guard girl came with a rifle after practice and me and sasha were trying it out, but we both wanted to hold it soo bad...we were just like "GIMMEGIMME" scream XD

Phantom Regiment and Santa Clara Van Guard rock my socks.
I'm going to be doing Drum Corps, I believe. I barely fit the age limit on the bottom end, too. xd
Band camp will be such a breeeeeezeeeee.

my band director made a lot of refrences to phantom regiment this year......saying things like "its humanly possible to march like that, SO DO IT!!!"
oh man, everyone in my guard was like floored when we saw them perform on ESPN. soo awesome heart

A senior in my guard is trying out for Glassmen. She's totally the drum corps type, but I'm not so sure I'd make it.... both physically and mentally.
lol, I want to try out for an independent winterguard after high school. When I know what college I'm going to I'll have to see if there are any closeby.

i just turned 15 this past fall.....on a competition day. gonk my bus screamed the happy birthday song to me, the guard sang to me, i got to the school before the competition and found my locker with presents, balloons, flowers, all sorts of birthdayie crap! and then came the birthday beatdowns from the band people xd they can punch hard!
