I make a lot of things. I sew as well as make chainmail. I have been considering it for a while and these hobbies are expensive. A lot of the other people I know that do this sell the things they make. I was wondering if anyone else had maybe tried this, and were successful. If so, where did they sell? I'm a member of several forums that have buy/sell/trade threads and what not... Would that be a safe way to do this? What does everyone think?

What I would personally do, is make it a rule for yourself to only buy materials for these with the money you get for selling them. You could sell it to a single person, but if all else fails you could sell it to an internet company.
If so, then I would try 'excalibur brothers' first off.

Well, the way most people I know do it, is they go to various forums and make posts saying they are selling something and how it is used. Then they list a price and all that... No one actually talks about it much, so I'm not sure how effective that is. Another problem is that, so far, I've only managed jewelry. Well... that looks decent. I've also seen people selling thier stuff on Ebay... I guess I'm not really creative when it comes to this...
