Lapis stepped forward into the mountain range sniffing the air and ground for the smell of a inactive volcano knowing gems and rares stone seemed to form around the intense pressure of heat. she hoped to find the fabled star cut gem or a someone to teach how to find said gems. Her tail twitched in happiness, the bells ringing happily, she sniffed out a gem...

(Lawls who better to find near a dormant volcano!-pronk-)
*Tingle tingle tingle* Dalfure shifted slightly in his sleep, his long cat nap on a high warm rock interrupted by a high but pleasant noise. "Whaaa.." he yawned softly sure it was the wind, simply hearing things and he could go back to dozing. *Tingle-tinkle-jingle* the sound of the steady bells moving in step with whomever owned them grew louder and dalfuer grew more curious. Ears perked and tail swishing as he sought out the source of the noise. Bright silver eyes sleepily scanning the ground below, landing on the sight of a purple and white wish..
"Now whas someone doing all the way out here.." he himself frequented the place for the warm napping spots, and in hopes that he may one day see the volcano do something cool. Why would someone else be wandering around though? There were no pretty trees or grass..only occasional flowers..rocks and dust and ash and..more rocks.. Still his curiosity wouldn't allow him to just ignore the new comer. He had to go check things out! Hopping down from his napping perch padding across the hard ground towards the new wish with a broad friendly grin on his face.

Lapis ears perked thinking she heard something but disregarding it after a while, she then paced around near a rock and started digging hoping to find that gem...

 Kyuutou looks around the dormant volcano littered with darken boulders as he finally said after hours of looking.
"Let's dig here!" a huge grin spread across his face. His snake friend finally hisses in relief.
"Finally! I thought you'd never find a place to dig!" Romero rolls his eyes and climbs off of Kyuu's back.
"Aw, don't be that way Romero." Kyuu laughs before going into his digging mode, humming up tune as he searched for any kind of treasure and he soon finds himself something shiny waiting for him.

Lapis finding no luck here moved on and came across a green and brown wish," time to dig? hey you found a gem!" she sniffs it but gets sad, "not my gem." she dashes to the other side to sniff out 'her' gem.

Kyuutou stood dumbfounded as a pretty purple and white female ran to and from him. It took him a few moments to realize what she said and what happened.
"Wait! What do you mean that its not your gem?!" Kyuu yells after her.

Lapis's tail twitches and the bells ring, "maybe here?" she started digging in a small cave until the only thing showing was her tail sticking out.
