Here's the deal, I think I am the only girl (or maybe person... except my mom as well) who does not like the Rascal Flatts sound. Just something about their voices. I mean, I don't hate them but I don't ever forsee myself going and buying an album. The sound just doesn't appeal to me.
However, the single they have out right now The Broken Road (I appologize if I have the wrong title) is really growing on me. I don't even mind the voices as much in it. What I'm trying to say is that I enjoy that song. Now I'm scaring myself.
I'll have to keep my ears open for anything else they release in the future and maybe someday my opinion will change.

I have to say I agree with you on the voice thing. For some reason, their last cd, Feels Like Today, seemed more, well you hear Jay and Jon Dun ALOT more to begin with, and their sound has improved a great deal.

I used to not like their voice at all in songs like "Mayberry" but their newer songs sound a lot better and less harsh!

i love those boys... and you cant deny how glorious the butt of jo don is!!! its just heaven-sent... and his voice is a lot softer and sweeter = very cute

I personally like them. Their voices get to me sometimes, but most of the time I'm fine with them. There's something about Bless the Broken Road and Fast Cars and Freedom that really drew me in. There's power behind the lyrics.

"skin" brought me to tears. i never heard anything that got to me more. might be personal experience, but its just absolutely amazing. its my favorite song along with "bless the broken road." anyone else heard it?
