I am so pleased that they have disappeared as of late. Not having to hear their voices has made my life just slightly more enjoyable... in the music respect.

I just can't take their sound!

I don't mind them, their music's decent...but the fact that they're whores doesn't really appeal to the country fan in me.

I don't really mind some of their songs, though I think they need to chill on the political statements a bit. A friend of mine once said that they were fine until the ugly one joined them. That pretty much sums it up for me. Anyway, a lot of people argue that 'Traveling Soldier' was a really great song, and I would agree...but, (And someone correct me if this is wrong, because I don't know 100%) from what I can tell, they didn't write it.

i kinda liked the song goodbye earl
it takes what is usualy a horrible thing that happens and lightens the mood so in a way it might help someone to actually get a divorce under a situation like that.
i didnt like that they did what they did but you have to get over it some time right? i try to do that .........usualy...... so i still listen to some of there good songs like cowboy take me away

Goodbye Earl was funny the first few times and then it got severly overplayed... around here at least. If it came on right now I bet I still couldn't listen to it.

There is one video by them I have seen and enjoyed but I can't think of the words to the song or the song title. But it's got a man sitting in a chair and he's ignoring his family and they fade into other people and stuff like that. It's weird but I do enjoy that song.

They're far from my favorites.

"i may not like what you have to say, but ill defend to the death your right to say it."

yeah... cant say anything bout their political statements cause i have quite a few of my own (being a huge liberal), but they can truly annoy me with their music. they get COMPLETELY overplayed here, and i dont typically like their songs to begin with... only a couple, and then that soon dies.

the only one i like is "travelling soldier." it reminds me of when my boyfriend went to iraq (air force)... the song always makes me cry. i dont ever want him to go back, even though hes scheduled to. *tear*

I got surveyed by my local Country radio station about them. The station asked if I didn't ever want to hear them again because of their political statements! I really don't care how a musician leans politically, as long as they make good music. I'm pretty disgusted at how people have reacted to them since their opinions are different.

you rock!!! i feel the same way. even though i dont necessarily like their music anyways, a person can have whatever political ideas they want to. some may not like/share those sentiments, but they still can say whatever they want... its sad that many cannot just accept how they feel and move on
