Introduction
Hello! And welcome to the Book Swappers Thread! What, you may be asking, is a Book Swappers Thread? My answer is simple. This is a place where all of us hoopy frood's here at the Cover 2 Cover Guild can get together and list off the books that we own, but no longer wish to possess, and what kinds of books we would like in return for them. Then, we can scan through other people's lists and see what trades are available to us. From there, it can be determined what method you would like to use to pass on the information of where to send said books, and to whom the book should be addressed. (See rules for more details).
Sound like fun? I'll bet it does! It does to me, anyhow. Of course, with something like this I am going to have to request that if you are under 18 years of age, that you either ask your parents permission before participating, or else please do not participate. Passing out personal information over the internet is a little risky, but at least if its all legal adults taking that risk, then Gaia can't be blamed for it.

RulesThere are, obviously, a few rules regarding how this should work. I reserve the right to add to this list if any issue previously unthought of should arise that need's to have a rule created for it. 1) Please do not violate Gaia's ToS. We want Gaia to continue to be a place for us to come together, and so we don't want to upset the Mods, Admin's, or whoever happens to be keeping an eye on us. Please take the personal info exchange off of Gaia, to an email or a messenger. And please trade THAT information through PM's. 2) When listing your books, please use the form below for each book you want to list as available for trade. PM me that list, and I will post it up in the thread where it can be moderated by me. 3) Once a book has been swapped, both parties should notify me so I can remove swapped books from the lists of books available. 4) If you see a book available for swaps that you don't like, please don't say anything. Just ignore it. I don't want anyone badmouthing anything at all in this thread. Thanks. 5) A PM title is not mandatory, but it does help distinguish what the PM is so you know why you've been PMed. If a Swapper has requested specifically, a PM Title be used, please use that PM title. That's it for now. Book's Available for Swapping
This is where I will post the list of books that are currently up for trade. You do not currently have to have a book available for trade in order to pm someone about a book they want to trade out. If you have what they are looking for, and you don't want it anymore, feel free to PM them about it using the PM Title they've requested be used. I hate to repeat myself, but it is something that needed repeating.
Below you will find, by Username, a list of who has what for swaps and what they want in return. Feel free to request more than one book in return, so that if someone doesn't have one of the books you wanted, they may at least have another of them. Also, if you're feeling like playing Russian Roulette with Books, you can simply leave the title blank and see what gets offered in return.

Previously Successful Swaps
This is a list of all previously swapped books. If you get a book in a swap, and you don't end up liking it, don't be discouraged. You can swap it back out for another from someone else. But it will be listed here so that we can keep track of where the swapped books are ending up. Well, this is more for me and the person who swapped said book, should they care, but I figure it could be fun to keep track, because then we can see how many times certain titles get swapped out, and where they are going. I have a feeling some books may end up traveling the known world through Gaia. Wouldn't that be funny?

This looks like a pretty cool idea. I'll have to look through my books tomorrow and find a couple I don't mind trading off!
