So every now and then, when I remember, I'm going to post my prayers here that I've already written down in my prayer journal. I may not post them all the time 'cause some of them are personal, but I thought I'd do this just to maybe inspire some of you to keep your own prayer journals. I think they're very effective. Anyhow, if you want to comment on my prayers, plz pm me or comment on my profile and not in this thread (kinda like para's journal in the writers' subforum).

LORD, my Father, how glorious is Your name on high. I pray for myself and for those I love: my friends, my family. Bless them and keep them safe.
But I am like an unclean thing,
And all my righteousnesses are like filthy rags;
I fade as a leaf,
And my iniquities, like the wind,
Have taken me away.
ISAIAH 64:6
What is it about evil that seems so attractive to the common sinner? Should not goodness and lovingkindess seem better? LORD, I struggle with this. Why do words of complaint spring forth from my mouth? I don't know; I cannot tell. It seems my thoughts are not here, but somewhere else...constantly! I cannot concentrate, cannot think of the task at hand. I even feel like I'm talking to myself right now. So many distractions to stray me from Your path. Mi hafeth, my Great Provider, Life Sustainer...English seems so bland for describing You. You are much more holy. What words could I use to describe You, God? Please, let our relationship grow in intimacy. What words? If I was to behold Your glory, it would be too much for me, just as it was too much for Moses. Hearing Your voice would be wonderful. What am I to see? Let me see through Your eyes, hear what You hear, feel what You feel. A I not one of my created in You likeness?

God, I know you hear me, so please here my cry. I am so sinful in nature that it hurts and all I can do is repent. So I repent, Abba, Father; please cleanse my wretchedness. I need You all the time, 24/7, and You know this well. That's why You created us: so that we will pursue You and You us. I love You and I want to be with You always.

LORD, thank You for the beautiful day today. I thank You for banishing wickedness. You are all-powerful and almighty, such that I am amazed. You astound me, O LORD, Your name speaks peace and wonder. I give myself to You, a living sacrifice. I am Yours and Yours alone. Fill me whole. Help me to control my tongue so that I don't utter negative things. I pray that You will provide a way for me, that I would not have to drop out of school. I thank You for making me such a well-rounded person. Thank You for my gift.
Again, let me see through Your eyes, hear what You hear, feel what You feel. I will listen. My mind is in a frenzy; please give me peace tonight, Abba hafeth.

LORD, my Father, how glorious is Your name on high. I pray for myself and for those I love: my friends, my family. Bless them and keep them safe.
LORD, first and foremost, I pray for the Buddhist monks. They have been on my heart for the past few days. I pray that they may see Your truth, mercy and peace. I wish I could live among them, Abba, and help show them the way by whatever means. But You have the power to show them Your way. May they become more open to who You are and learn to trust You. Oh, LORD, please show them the way.
God, I admit I have been stressed lately, especially today. The though of this paper is overwhelming. Please give me the creativity an patience to write. Who is better at saving a people than You? But above all, give me peace. Give me peace in everything I do. Let me meditate on Your name. Speak to me like You have never spoken to me before. There's a cry in my heart for Asian people, especially the Japanese and the Buddhist monks.
God, You are amazing!
