Prof. Layton's a good DS game too.
And if you're an FF fan and finished FF12, you can go for FF12: Revenant Wings biggrin

Dragon Quests IV and V.
Dragon Quests VI and IX coming soon. Hopefully.
Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon is very good, but not very compelling. The gameplay and presentation are stellar, but they did next to nothing to improve the NES-era plot. I beat it and liked it, but I wasn't as compelled to get to each level or play the game again, like in previous games.
Also, the Ace Attorney series. And the remake of Final Fantasy III, followed by the remake of Final Fantasy IV, if you liked how it was improved upon.

most pokemon games except pokemon ranger. its not that its bad, its just too hard at parts. i hear the 2nd pokemon ranger was more forgiving though...

Metroid: Hunters
If you liked Bejeweld Then Puzzle quest. Its a mix between Bejeweled and some sort of magic turn-based game...
Those are just two.

To be honest, I've been playing this one DS game on and off for a while, and it's preety wierd. I don't think no one's really heard of it, and I wouldn't be suprised.
The game's called Wario: Master of Disguise. Anyone ever heard of it? If you like annoying fast paced minigames, thrown in to interrupt a side-scrolling adventure for collecting treasure with annoying touch pen gimmicks, then you'll probably like it.
