That is a lie. Though they help, goggles are NEVER required to be steampunk. And in my humble opinion, as a person who has actually studied Victorian couture, the TM top hat is ATROCIOUS and the brass raving goggle look gawdy as hell. I've always preferred the Syaoran's Goggles. They're not overly large, they're not cliché. They're, you know, goggles.

I'm considering adding a few steampunk accessories to my current look and get a steampunk/airship pirate look going. I'm gonna invest in some goggles but not sure what else to add...

Anyone who wants some good/decent steampunk Items, I have a few suggestions: 1-Lord Wilhelm (~150,000G) 2-Techno Mage (~60,000G) 3-Lyndexer's Journal (~200,000G) 4-Bronze Automaton Arm (~15,000G)(Or any of them really) 5-Black or Leather Bio-Mask(~900G)(Or any that match what you're wearing) 6-Rawhide Vinyl Strap Top(~2500G) 7-Wild West Duster(~7920G)(Almost any of them except maybe the green and white)(suggested by VanXant) Prices given are general store items, except the first three. Prices given are approximate (Hence the ~ sign). Prices may vary depending on popularity of particular item, unless bought from the shops which the last three can be. I may be updating this when I find better Items, and every thing here is only a suggestion. You don't HAVE to wear them to look steampunk. But they do/can help. Any Questions?

I'd also suggest the cattleman's wild west duster from Global Imports....coats full of bullet-holes work well with SP gear.
