duh...
there is no such thing as world peace. if one country is not at war, it's another country. if one country is not being torn up by civil war, it's another country.
it's simple human nature for us to be this way.

Oh there can be peace, it just won't last very long. It's more spread out across time when it comes to the global or international stuff.
There will always be danger, whether it be by man or by nature. There is no such thing as absolute peace.
This is why we make jokes, parodies, and also is why hugs are just so comforting and mean a lot.
*hugs Nite Owl* There may not be peace, but there certainly is joy. ^^

Maybe not at a global level, like mentioned before. It's just human nature, but I believe that if one tries hard enough they can reach a personal peace with themselves.

We are just breed to be individuals which makes us difficult to connect. Emmerson relates people to being like spheres we can only connect with each other on one single point the rest we differ from each other.

I think Adrian's success comes from averting one clear, obvious crisis. Obviously isn't not world peace forever, but this is how we deal with things- one thing at a time. The big question would be, is it acceptable for so many people to die for a "temporary" solution?

Think about it. Peace is a word that government officials throw around to calm everyone's paranoia a little. Peace never has existed, never will. Those who believe in peace are simply tree-huggers.
