Seishou and Aura are one in the same in many ways, however both of them are also separate in many aspects as well. Here I will explain the concept and structure of these two forms of energy. There are different types of Seishou and Aura that exist through the world of Termina. The process of explaining may be complex at first, but when the actual process is initiated it happens within the blink of an eye. Seishou is the spirit energy that empowers magic and aura is it's visible form when released from the body. So all in all, most of this should common knowledge among the people of Termina, but below is a more detailed explanation for those seeking a greater understanding.

Seishou

Seishou, or Spirit Energy is the form of latent energy created from the soul that resides and is possessed in by all living creatures. This power is the stored energy fuel that drives every action regardless of what race they are. The higher Seishou a person possesses, the more magic or actions they can perform before fainting. However if more Seishou is used up than in the body, then that person dies. Some races possess higher amounts of Seishou than normal humans, and so they tire slowly.

Aura

For those who work their bodies to the point where their actual seishou becomes so strong it can be seen with the naked eye. Aura is basically the name of actual seishou that can be seen when released from a person's body with the naked eye. Once released, it can come in many colors, though the most common color is blue, it can variate among the personalities of each person. Aura is basically the physical embodiment of a person's seishou taken shape or form into single avatar of seishou around the person usually symbolizing the nature of that person's innate personality. That is aura. When spread into the open, Aura can effect the environment and weaker individuals differently depending on it's nature. Only the highest potent of seishou among individuals are able to release seishou. It's effects on the environments can vary between each person ranging from elements, emotions, or even affinities for specific ideas that your character may believe in.

Magic

For those who rather the more simple explanation, basically Seishou the energy that one uses up when casting spells. But for those who prefer the deeper and more technical way of how it operates, read on. Many people are probably asking themselves what is exactly magic and what does it have to do with Seishou in Termina. It's quite simple. Seishou is the spirit energy stored within each person's body as we already know. However using the Seishou by itself can be disastrous for the user and everything around them, which is why taking up a certain class is more efficient and organized way than simply burning through Seishou. Depending on the class taken, seishou is converted into the desired force needed. For the mages of Termina that force is known as Magic. When a mage uses seishou, the person's will itself is bound to that specific word and eventually a magical language is created consisting of spells. These spells come together to form a single magical seal, which produces the desired magic. Once the spell is activated, their seishou will be condensed into the spell desired. There is countless magic that exist in the world of Termina, and it is nearly impossible to master them all.

Magic Seals

A magic seal is what is seen when magic is produced by a mage. Magic Seals consist of sigils, words in the magic language that are written in the user's seishou. Each time a magic seal is formed, the user must interlock these sigils into the correct positions in order to complete the magic seal similar to that of a jigsaw puzzle. Once the seal is completed, the desired magic will then be triggered or fired from the seal. As a mage grows more prominent in their own magic, forming the seals become second nature. However, more powerful and complex magic usually consist of a greater amount in number of sigils required to form a seal, some ranging in the thousands which takes a mage munch longer to complete. Magic seals also vary in size, depending on how large or small in size the magic being used. However, the size of magic seal does not usually indicate how strong are weak the magic being used is. There exists weak magic that exist that produces enormous magic seals that require very little sigils to form just as there are strong magic that produces smaller seals that require greater amounts of sigils to form and vice versa. Each seal differs in color, depending on the magic being used by the mage.
