I'm curious as to why each of your characters chose to be with either B.O.O. or S.I.N.

I, too, have reason for joining a side....or lack of one....Forgive me if I seem super skeptical about both demigods. I just feel like they're making us fight over something we don't really have any business in. Look at the story. Look what they're fighting over. This war is foolish and ignorant. These demigods are just using us to win a millenia-old argument that started with an earthworm! They're using us for their own selfish ends! We're only feeding these two great, but terrible powers! The balance of planet Gaia is reeling and about to collapse in on itself, be it from an overdose of light or darkness! Whoever wins, we lose! Edmund-san knows it! Everyone on Team NOM knows it! ....Yet, as mortal flaws and sins seem to work....not many others bother to see the bigger picture....That could doom us all, in the end....

Augh, I can't read your story Gera, because we're not friends on this account. -cries-
As for me.... well, that's an easy one. While this Overseer might not be the best leader that ever existed, I do know one thing for sure. Demons populating the Earth? Yeah that's a bad thing. Lives are at stake, and those that fight for SIN are fighting for their own extinction. They've been brainwashed into empathizing with this Sentinel's tale of woe without thinking of consequence. If she were to gain full power, the horrors that would be brought forth from that damned portal would utterly destroy Gaian life as we know it and ultimately, the Gaian race.
I knew pretty quickly where I stood on the matter, and inaction simply wasn't a possibility. The only real problem was enlisting myself to a virtually unknown power. I don't much buy into this cult garbage, especially after the mess it's left me with on the streets and the toll its taken on the city. Sentinel is the enemy, not her followers, yet the number of bodies in ceremonial robes I've had thrown into bags this past week is sickening. This war needs to stop, and if that means taking up the mantle and destroying this demigod myself, then so be it. I don't fight for the Overseer. I fight for the people, and dammit they need defending right about now.

My reason is the same one I've been bitching about the whole fight. I hate demons more than I hate the celestial. It all stems back to the origins of the fallen becoming devils. Which are different from the abyssal trash that is demons.
Devils are fallen angels, they were corrupted in the pursuit of hunting down and punishing evil. In the process it was discovered mortals were partaking of this corruption as well. So an incentive was developed to stop mortals from giving in to demonic corruption, that was something bordering on eternal punishment. The down side is there was no separate place for the damned, so soon heaven was filled with the wailing of the damned. So Asmodeus drew out another contract. This contract was different from the first two, the first contract allowing him divine jurisdiction in hunting down demon and mortals corrupted alike. The second contract was for punishing the damned and having jurisdiction of what happens to them for an eternity of damnation. The third contract? The third contract was for the nine layers of hell, bartering with the divine for a place to punish the wicked, so that the celestial planes may go unblemished.
Eventually the hells were filled with the angels corrupted by hunting demons for so long. These angels were called, "The Fallen" or the infernal, or even the newly pronounced devils. Now this story differs from religion to religion, but some gods will never admit they made hell for their mortal kine. Asmodeus delights in the fact that the divine also failed to read the fine print, the devil and his kin are allowed to tempt mortal flesh into corruption so they may have another soul that they will eventually twist to their blood war with the demons.
Now my Vasharan reason, which is much akin to saying my very humane reason. with the obvious deviation that Vasharan are intrinsically different. We've no souls, we've no empathy, we've no room for mercy as we don't understand it without much time spent among humanity attempting to study the differences. The Vasharan are the prototypes to humanity, we're another secret the gods don't want you to know about. We we're made and tested in the wild. We were born and began to hunger, so we hunted. We killed with efficient savagery that disturbed the gods. Then we fashioned weapons from bone and sinew and turned on our creators. We were then struck down. Our remains disposed of to an obscure corner of no where left to rot into nothingness- Until what happened next. Asmodeus and Graz'Zt found us. Both Devil and Demon prince respectively, they saw potential in us and rekindled the spark of life in us in the only joint effort in infernal history.
We were secreted away to our capital city Mechanus, a clock work labyrinth with machinations of revenge against our parents. We'd survived the attempted abortion, we endure with out souls. We've the ambition to apotheosis to a greater state of being, for example I have completed apotheosis to becoming a half-infernal creature. It's why you will never see my natural form. For that reason I fight off the inevitable by becoming infernal and ergo immortal. The next step is power, the next step after that is revenge for an attempted abortion.
It's an added bonus of this war, I get to take a crack at demi-gods and jack, both of which are just a wetting of the apetite for destruction we've in store for the usurpers. The divine did steal it's throne from the primordial forces of creation. They are not the omnipotence they imply, you will see eventually...

rofl Wow, I'm the odd one out. I'm with SIN because. . Well, I can understand where she's been. Losing your sanity and being locked up for who knows how long. . Yeah I've been there, done that. In other words, we're pretty much in a sister-like relationship.
We both love bringing destruction onto our enemies, me being the lesser evil since my powers are pretty much limited compared to her. Ha ha.
Errr. . . Aside from getting more power from her. She also told me that I can use her powers instead of Ra's to smite my enemies. I'm a little more worried about demons coming in and attacking my friends and family but she tells me that no harm would come to them if I am a loyal servant and. . Yadda yadda. . . You know the drill on that. . And if I don't . . Again, same cliche lines that all baddies make when you refuse their stuff.
I start feeling bad for her because. . . I was in that mentality before. I mean guys, I've been stuck in the metal ward before and every time I escaped I lose some part of my sanity. There was a point in my life where I was basically a enraged, bloodthirsty psychopath. For the most part, I joined because:
1 - Maybe she'll change her mind about consuming Gaia with demons and doom. . . If I can get a willing therapist to her. (It's not working out so well. D cool
2 - Beat the crap out of the people on my DOOM list that are on BOO's side. Hey, no actual penalty here. I actually have more than one reason to want to knock their lights out. My original reasons was the fact that they all pissed me off but I couldn't do much of it. But if they're on BOO and I'm on SIN. . Hey! Free game here!
Yeah. . Black isn't the most purest of people. XD;;;;; She's probably more gray than anything.

My original reasons was the fact that they all pissed me off but I couldn't do much of it. But if they're on BOO and I'm on SIN. . Hey! Free game here! NOT free game, Ra. We're still people, and people have rights. Keep it together or you'll find yourself back in a cell sooner than you realize. I'm not asking again. This is exactly what I'm talking about. This needs to end before things get completely out of hand and the city's overrun with mad cultists.

I originally wanted to be on BOO's side because, I knew from the first logo leaked I wouldn't like SIN. Anything with the back and red color scheme is never my cup of tea. Or course I wasn't a fan of BOO's color too, but it also seemed like the good side. I'm pretty much always on the good side or neautral side. (Being part of the GIB and all, I feel the need to just protect Gaia in general)
Then after all the comic and such were released, I started like both leaders, but the Overseerers silliness really won me over. I see him as someone that is a peace loving fellow that is lax in his methods, but still knows what he wants to get done.
Edit: Sorry, I can't really think of an in character story for my reasoning.

I was told a million times of all the people in my way well I'm kinda with Gera on this one. I've never been one to let myself be a pawn in some sick perverted game of chess. I've always fancied the king. I don't even do what Hayley tells me to do, and I date her. What makes Clambino think I'm gonna listen to him? how I had to keep on trying and get better ev'ry day

Well, I've been a member of Gaia since 04, and due to the About Me section within each of the SIN and BOO profiles. I made my chose when I read that BOO is to protect Gaia, and SIN is to flood it with demons. So.. ya. Why not protect Gaia like we do in zOMG then to let it be over run with Demons of all sorts.. Besides.. its all about sexual innuendos anyways. xD

Like it or not, these cults are here. They're very present and very dangerous and doing nothing would be worse of a sin than sucking up your pride and getting into the fray. This crap won't ever stop if all those who don't like it refuse to take a stand. It's clear the demons are a problem. Why not take them out at the source? Also... you'll live longer if you start listening to me. rolleyes

I mean, dude, even demigods can't be that dense.
Oh yeah, and for the record, I have a higher chance of killing myself unintentionally than starting another mass murder. =D
