Hi there! I'm Sarah, the author of the Seven Cities of Gold. Along with the rest of a wonderful crew, I participated in role playing the very first Possibly Pirates instalment, and as you can see it is in the process of being turned into a novel.

How about I tell you a bit more about myself? My name is Sarah, and I'm 17 years of age. I attend a boarding school, and hope to become a professional photographer and published part-time author and poet.

I love to write, and my forte, I think, is poetry in which I have a unique style. Because of this, I often have an almost poetic-style when it comes to writing prose - my words often flow together easily and lovingly, and most things contain meaning.

This is my first year attempting to write a NaNovel, and I really hope to make the 50k mark. I think I can, and in ways I know I can, so wish me luck!

If you'd like to chat to me on MSN, just add me - but please let me know that you're from the NaNo guild when initiating a conversation with me!

        TOXIC.heaven@hotmail.co.uk

And no, I'm not from the UK. I'm actually Australian, but I couldn't have just a '.com' ending to my email - didn't give me that option.

personalitysteady, quick mind. Mostly easy going. Holds her own well in a fight - quite ruthless when its live-or-die. Hard worker. Not often outspoken. Sees herself better suited to being quartermaster or first mate rather then captain a lot of the time - sees James as a better choice for captain. Very loyal, defensive, and slightly confused about her family and romantic feelings. Strays away from romantic relationships (still a virgin at 25? hot damn). doesn't panic easily - but when she does, she panics hard. Can get extremely frustrated with certain people and becomes much harsher with them when she does. Tries to be fair and equal to her crew. Loves the thrill of the fight, and the thrill of discovering treasure. Often wonders why she turned to piracy, but doesn't regret it.

brief biographyRichelle was raised along with seven brothers in a port town, by a blacksmith father and a basket weaving mother. A rich (by marriage) aunt taught the young girl how to read, write and speak French, Dutch and English, among other cultural niceties. But Richelle was more interested in the seedier part of life, and became involved in street thievery, in a gang run by one of her many cousins. She became quite skilled at the art of pick pocketing, but a bad job wound her up being sent away from home to live with an uncle. However, on the ship that was to take her away, a bit of bad weather occurred that killed nearly everyone on board. Richelle somehow survived, and met up with a few of the other survivors (namely James McLeod and Elizabeth Darson). After a course of strange events, the three became four with the addition of Raff Kelly. And soon, after gaining a ship and a small crew, the four became five with a former British Officer named Caesar. Richelle became the First Mate of the Fledgling (Captain Elizabeth's ship) and had many adventures and adrenaline pumping experiences pass into and out of her life.

        personalityanswer
brief biographyRaff was born in Ireland and was raised at a coastal village. After being pressed into the British navy, Raff jumped ship in the Caribbean. In the British navy Raff served on the night watch and as a boarding party member, so Raff has good night vision and is skilled with pistol and blade. Since leaving the Fledging he returned to Ireland with Caesar and used his share of the gold to start and fund a rebellion. One of the first English regiments to face Raff's Rebels were a Black Watch unit from the Scottish Highlands. After defeating the outnumbered Scots, Raff received the beaten colonel's Basket-hilted claymore and the regimental colors. He now carries the sword with a promise to free Scotland and had the colors entombed with the men of the Black Watch. About a year later, Raff and a small company of guards were ambushed transporting a good deal of Raff's gold by English Dragoons and a infantry regiment. Raff took a saber cut down the left side of his face, through his left eye and he fell. A few men carried him off the field and fled. As Raff healed, word of his death spread and the rebellion was crushed without him. When he could walk again, Raff sent the other leaders into hiding and left Ireland again to find the Fledging and her captain, Elizabeth McCay Darson.

Finally he wears a caubeen much like Raff's except the trimming and emblem is deep red.
