To the one that I serve
I have been on gaia for 4 years now. This account is only about 2 years old, but my origanal account was opened back in November 2004. I just missed the halloween event by a small amount of time. Any way I've been on gaia a lot of that time. I spend a lot of time lurking in many forums. You'll see me in almost any topic related to magic, witchcraft, wicca, or paganism.
I am a part time college student. Right now I do not have a declared major but I'm working on my required classes. I am looking at doing a self designed major that combines religious studies, psychology, social work, and history/anthropology. I may also include biology and writing. I'm sure I can find a way to make this work.
I am trained to the first degree in Usui Reiki. Reiki is a form of energy healing that was discovered by Dr Usui several hundred years ago. There are many different traditions, but the core is the same. A healing session is done by using symbols and hand positions in order to direct the healing energy. I plan on getting my masters some day and opening a new age healing shop. I also want to get trained in polarity and massage. I may also look into Qui-Gong another system of energy work.
In some ways I could be considered a Shaman. I do a lot of shadow healing work on myself. I am actually going to be participating in a 6 week online/over email shadow work training. It's a continuation of a workshop I did back this summer. I consider myself to be a shaman in that I work with many different spirits. I walk in the spirit worlds for guidance and the like, and I know that there are many spirit worlds. I do a lot of general energy work. Though I need to restudy and get back into that book.
Since I am on the topic of religion I'll adress that aspect of me. Religion and religious studies are an important part of who I am as a person. I am a follower of the religion I call Wytcha. For that reason I call myself a wytchan. I believe in every God and Goddess even if I don't worship them all. I currently focus my practices and studies on Asatru or Norse/germanic based paganism. I believe in reincarnation, multiple spirit worlds, and that everything and place on earth has a spirit.
I was born and raised a Christian who accepted any and all other religions. My biological family were satanists when i was born. While I don't know anything about satanism, I do believe in Satan, though I consider Satan to be the ability to have choice and nothing more. I do not worship Satan, though many would say I do. To me Satan is a godlike entity, not a God himself, but having some Godlike powers.
I view Jesus as the son of God, but not God. I view God as having an over sized ego. he is jealous of any other God, which is why he tells his followers that he is the only God to be worshiped. A being of his status, I could not complain myself, but his ego really put me off from him. I do believe in him and that he has his chosen people. I'm just not one of them.
I am a witch. I practice magic and witchcraft. I am not afraid to Curse or hex some one if they have harmed me or some one I love in such a manner that it would be an appropriate coarse of action. I believe in spirit guides and the like and work with mine on a semi regular basis. I also believe and work with Dragons among other beings.
I am considered by many to be a Gothic person. I am interested in the darker areas of humanity. I love invader zim, Johnen vasquez and Roman dirge. I love vampires and fantasy. I have worked for a renisance faire in the past and had a lot of fun. One of my many areas of interest is in history and reinactments of history. That's part of the reason I love Salem.
I am a New Englander. I live in southern Maine and have lived in Maine my entire life. I was born on the ocean and spent the first 6 years of my life living on the ocean. I was sexually abused as a baby, and was put into foster care from 2-6. I was adopted by another family when I was 7 years old. I love my families.
I am engaged. I've been with my fiance for 5 years now. We are both pagans. I met him when I was 16. At the time he was dating one of my best friends. they later broke up and we got together. We fell in love working at the renisance faire together. We share a love for the martial arts and study together.
I also consider myself some what of an artist. I like to spend time enjoying art of all forms. Myself I have drawn in the past and done many other things. I love to dance, act, play the flute, draw, and write. I also like equine sports and fencing.
My favorite colors are purple, black, red, green, and blue. My favorite shows inclue metalocaplypse, Sailor Moon, Family Guy, Robot Chicken, Space Balls, Code Monkeys, and a few others. My favorite bands include Korn, System of a Down, dream theater, pink floyd, Korn, Linklin Park, and a few others.
