I'd like to be the first to introduce this subforum and ask you all what your favourite anime is?
I'd still like to keep the main focus of this guild based on Anime, but if you'd like to relax away from video game chatter and discuss something else in this guild, you may come here and discuss your interests in anime shows, movies, etc.

My favorite anime hands down is full metal alchemist brotherhood. Keep in mind it isn't the original anime. >_> this one follows the manga [mostly] and new episodes are currently going on.

Well, I haven't seen a lot of anime, but so far, I like .hack//Legend of the Twilight Bracelet. I'm a .hack// fan anyway, but this anime is a great addition to the series. I haven't gotten that far in the story, though. I have no money to buy more dvds. razz

I liked the original FMA one, I only watched a few episodes of the Brotherhood one. I think I left off with the chimera girl one. I never read the mangas though, so I'm not exactly sure what the mangas are like for this series. I did watch all 51 of the original anime episodes though and watched the movie.
I really like Bleach, Naruto: Shippuden, and Soul Eater.

I have to say Lucky Star biggrin , I watched a bunch of others, but my favorite is LS, it's just so awesome, weird and random, hell every time I watch it again, I either discover something new or get a joke I didn't get earlier. At first I didn't get the Haruhi reference with Konata in the witch costume when she's ''predicting the future''.
I would say Elfen Lied would be close in becoming a favorite biggrin There's a pretty obscure Anime I've seen who isn't my favorite but I actualy like even though it's have almost no continuity, the story (yes there is one) is all over the place and a lot of thing just don't plain make sense is KoiKoi 7. I admit the main reason I like it is (one of the)Asuka Yayoi (AKA Celonius MK28 AKA Gantai-Chan, not the Desu one, I don't like her ._.). I'm not exactly sure why I like except for AY, but I recently heard there was a manga of it wich is even more strange.
I liked Naruto and Bleach before, but m'eh. One Piece is cool I guess. But I prefer they're manga version. Oh well.
Soul Link, wich is also pretty obscure, is a really good anime, it kinda reminded me of Xenosaga for some reason. My friend showed me Uchuu no Stelvia wich was also good biggrin (That guy who think he's some sort of ninja is funny xD)

My favorites are between Elfen Lied and Code Geass. Both have great storylines. Sad ELfen Lied was only 13 episodes.

Case Closed. Solving the mysteries was way too fun, and the plots of the individual episodes were amazing. To bad it was canceled.

I'd say D. Gray-man. I've seen bits and pieces of the anime, but I have collected every manga volume.

I have a few Fullmetal Alchemist DVDs. I drew the line and stopped watching after that, though. I think I'm too vanilla for it. It's interesting, though. Very nice.

As a favorite.. Though choice.
I loved the old school Evangelion; and the somehow recent Bokurano - both of them are at my top on the Mecha Genera.
I enjoyed Soul Eater; but once they drifted waay much from the Manga it just ... went down. I loathed the ending - was to easy.
As for eichi/comedy I have to say that Kamen no Maid Guy is one of the funniest series I've encountered xd That, and Goshushosama Niyomiya-kun
I love Bleach, Lucky Star and Zetsubo Sensei as well :3

I don't like much Anime anymore. Many of the series I liked when I was younger fell away when I grew up. That being said, my favorite series are Dragonball, Cyborg 009, and Yu Yu Hakusho.

It's really good ^_^

DBZ is my all-around fav. Also if anyone here likes Dead Space, I just saw the animated movie Dead Space: Downfall. Its a very nice prologue to the video game. Best of all its good for those who've never played the game. Bottom-line awesome! biggrin
