I call things gay or retarded all the time but I thought to myself, "That must be pretty offensive to all the gays and retards." Then I continued on my way still calling things the way I always do. I've considered stopping lest I irritate anyone offended that I would compare anything bad with what I consider to be society's lessers, but frankly I don't give D@mn!

lol, i feel the same way. i always use those words to call something or somebody by them but especially my sisterz. But i truley think they r so that doesnt count.

I'm far smart to stoop to name calling. I don't call things retarted or gay cause those are very demeaning words to some. I have enough vocabulary skills to format a sentence that is an insult but it isn't barbaric as calling something gay or retarded.

Reason 1:I have a friend who's gay and he's really nice.
Reason 2: I have a little cousin who's retarded (autistic, actually) so I usually feel offended when people talk like that.

well,I am WAAY against that whole thing.
First,obviously because of my/our "homosexual" friend.
Second,I don't know any "mentally challenged" people personally,but I've seen a few at school,and they're just trying to fit in with everyone else! you know that one kid in band? (his name excapes me at the moment) it makes me so sad to hear him play his trumpet and get lectured by Mrs. Armstrong,because I can see that he's just trying so hard! AUGH. pain. in the chest. ack~! -dies-
but seriously,I could go on allllll day.

I do call things gay... only when i know there not gay
I call things retarded when i know that there are not.... there fore I dont really hurt someone that is gay or retartded. Pluse most of the time im jokeing. It just slips out. Im a loud partier.... it just happens.
