It's a rough copy....I'm going to end up expanding it but i havent yet so =P

Chapter 1: The Forest

"OW!" I screeched as I fell on my face.

"Smooth one, Doma" Vincent said sarcastically. I got to my feet and snarled at him. I looked up at the dark green canopy the tall tree's made over us as we hiked through the calm forest.

"It's really beautiful eh?" said Jean, "You"d never realize that the world can be this way. People have destroyed it." Jean and Vincent were my best friends. Jean was short, hyper, adorable, and easy to be friends with. She had a somewhat tomboyish look to her. She had shoulder length dark brown hair and blue eyes. They always sparkled when she smiled. Her full name was Jean-Lynn Fotaf. I call her Fota and Vincent calls her Jeanie

Vincent was a lot different in personality whys. He was tall, calm, hot, stubborn to no end, and could be very difficult to be friends with. He had a somewhat gothic/jock look to him. He also had shoulder length dark brown hair and blue eyes, though his eyes were more cold then warm like Jean's. His full name was Vincent Dan Valentine. Jean calls him Vincey and I call him Val.

Then there was me. I'm not very tall or short, I can be hyper or calm, stubborn or not, it all depended on the person , and I'm easy to be friends with. I had a more layed back casual look to me, no real clique standing out in my style. I had hair just shorter then shoulder length and green hazel eyes, which could be warm and friendly, or cold as ice. My full name was Sara Ann Domania-Shiana. Jean and Vincent both call me Doma.

"Yeah, it really is," I replied to Jean as I looked around me.

" So, Doma, you got your balance back?" Vincent laughed, " god, your worse then Jeanie!"

"HEY!" Jean and I both yelled back at him , then chased him deeper into the think forest. "Oh...My..." Jean and I muttered as we walked into the most beautiful opening. A small field had opened up before us. The aroma of flowers and cinnamon arose from the blue-green grass speckled with gorgeous violet-pink flowers. A Small crick flowed through the left side of the field.

"It's beautiful..." I muttered under my breathe, taken back by the true beauty of the meadow.

"So... anyone hungry?" said Vincent interruptedly. Both Jean and I looked at him like he was crazy, then laughed and went to sit in the pasture.

"Toss me a chicken," said Jean happily.

As we were sitting down to eat, huge, black clouds filled the sky. Lightning shot down around us. "WHAT'S HAPPENING!?" screeched Jean, the three of us were pushed back by the closing in lightning that seemed to be circling us. The winds, that seemed to have hit without any warning, swirled viciously. The lightning got closer and closer, swirling around us faster and faster.

Chapter 2: A Weird Creature

Suddenly, it all stopped. The skies looked like they had no more then a minute before, and there were no signs that there was ever any lightning, or wind. The sweet aroma of flowers and cinnamon still around usThe crick still trickled calmly. We looked wide eyed at each other, unsure of what to do.

"W-What in the world was that?!" I said, voice shaky and horse.

The three of us stood there silent for another minute or so and out of the blue Vincent said, “So...Anyone else still hungry?" Jean brought a hard down on the side of his head. "Sorry , but I"m hungry!"

Both Jean and I rolled our eyes. "We should leave before something else messed up happens," I said surprisingly calmly. As I walked toward the exit of the field, a low growl came from in front of me. " oh...uhh.." I shuddered as I back up. A creature that looked like a mix of a wolf, a lion, and something like a bird, came into the field after me.

"WHAT IS TH- ?!" screamed Jean. As soon as she opened her mouth Vincent covered her mouth. The creature gave out something like a growl and then it leapt at me.

"AHHHHHHH!" I screeched as it lunged at me. I fell to me knees and put my hands out in front of me, what ever I thought THAT would do. The creature stopped in it's tracks. It walked slowly up and layed down in front of me. I blinked repeatadly, I looked back to see Jean and Vincent doing the same.

Chapter 3: A New World...?

The creature lay there, his?, head bowed in deeply. I blinked, and keep blinking until finally Jean said, " w-what is it?!"

" I do not know," replied Vincent, " but it seems to like Sara." I looked back in surprise when I heard Val...VAL... call me Sara, which was something I haven't heard in over two years. Bravely, I put my hand on the creature's head and pet it. Something between a bark and a purr arose from its mouth. I flinched back slightly and it looked up at me.

"So, uh, where do you think we ARE Val?" I asked quietly, starting to enjoy petting the creature.

"I have no id-."

"You may want to be careful around one of those," a females voice said from behind us. We all glance simultaneously to see a young woman, no older then 25, walking over to us. "That's a Colot, they may act sweet one moment, but they can, and will turn and snap at you, quite the vicious and deceiving creatures if you ask me. The only people they won't snap at are sorcerers and bowsmen. Oh how rude of me, my names Dana, nice to meet the three of you."

The three of us looked at her baffled. She had ears, and not ears like ours ears , like a CATS! "Nice to meet you too, my names Vincent, but you'll hear these to call me different," replied Vincent, "and they are Sara and Jean." I finally snapped out of the trance that her ears held on me and smiled at her.

"Well nice to meet you all, so why are the three of you out here alone, don't you know how dangerous it is?" said Dana worriedly, "alot like this one, there are many more Colots and many other creatures. Hmmm, I'm surprised this one hasn't attacked you yet Sara, are you a sorcerer?" I blinked a few times then laughed softly.

"Me? Ha that's funny I don't even know where I am, not to mention if I'm anything but a human. I have no idea what is going on , whether I should be scared, or not. I don't even know what YOU are!" I said, covering my mouth as soon as I finished, "Oh my god I'm SO sorry!"

"It's ok," she laughed, "I'm assuming your from a different realm, and from the way your acting, I bet you don't even know what it was called huh."

I knew I was blushing so I looked away quickly. She laughed. "Why don't you come and stay with me?"

Chapter 4: The Sorceress

"I don't think that would be a good idea," replied Vincent coldly. I looked at him in awe. I had seen him eyeing her suspiciously. I looked away and looked down at the colot lying next to me. I had decided to name him Eaoul. He looked up at me then at her and then growled softly. Only Dana and me seemed to have heard it.

"Well alright, if your wondering the city is to the east of here, but have fun getting through here alone," she said then paused for a moment, "You know what? Here." She tossed us the bag that was on her back. Inside it was a set of blades, a broadsword, a bow, and a quiver of arrows. I paused for a moment then picked up the bow and quiver. Holding them just felt right, like I had been using one for a long time. After the three of us grabbed a weapon we looked up to thank her, but she was gone. A gentle breeze blew through the now empty field. I sighed then turned to walk into the forest. Eaoul followed closely behind me.

"Doma where are you going?" asked Vincent.

"To whatever city that freak Dana was talking about, I want to get home this place is messed,” I replied. Vincent sighed then followed me, patting Eaoul on the head on the way by.

"FINALLY!" sighed Jean as we exited the forest into the bright sunlight. I scanned the horizon. The pastures looked beautiful in the light of the setting sun.

"I think it would be a good idea to camp out tonight," I said, "I'm sure Eaoul will watch over us" I looked at him and he wagged his tail and bark-purred.

"I agree with Doma," said Jean when she seen the look of disagreement on Vincent's face. He looked at her hopelessly then sighed.

"Fine," he mumbled. Vincent went to gather some fire wood while Jean, guarded by Eaoul, went to find something to cover us with when we slept. I walked around our campsite scanning the horizon for any signs of the city Dana had mentioned. I had begun to doubt weather she was to be trusted at all. I sighed deeply and walked further from the campsite.A rustling came from the bushes behind me. I pulled an arrow from my quiver and aimed it at the bush.

"Relax Doma, it's me," said Vincent, just before I let go of the arrow, "Yea don't have to jump and pull an arrow out on every little rustle ya know." I flipped him off and we walked back to the camp, just in time to meet Jean.

"OK! Let's get lighting this fire! I'm freezing!" chirped Jean, "Anyone have a light?" We all looked at each other hopefully then I groaned. We each took turns trying to manually light the fire and after three hours we were all becoming highly irritated.

"GAHH!" I screamed as I tried for the fifth time to light a fire, "This just isn't WORKING!" I was starting to get really mad "I MEAN COMMON! PEOPLE USE TO DO IT ALL THE TIME! WHY THE HELL ARE WE HAVING SUCH ISSUES!" I screamed, and I started to get even angrier. I turned back to the unlit campfire and stared angrily at it. Suddenly it lit on fire and the three of us jumped back a meter and a half each.

"Uhmmmm" I said softly. A moment ago we couldn't even get smoke, now the pit was in full flame. "D-Did I just..?" I trailed off.

"I-I think so," replied Jean quietly

"I think Dana was right when she called you a sorceress Doma," said Vincent cockishly. I glanced at him coldly then back at the fire,

"Maybe..." I replied

Chapter 5: To the Skies

"Ahhh!" I yawned as I woke up from a full nights sleep, Eaoul had been a good pillow for all three of us with his size and furriness.

"I wonder if he can fly," thought Vincent out load. Both Jean and I looked at him oddly. "Well he DOES have wings, maybe he can carry us!" Eaoul looked at me and barked-squawked.

"Maybe," I said unsurely. Eaoul bowed down and gestured for me to climb on his back. Damned creature could understand english . I climbed onto his back and he crouched down and took off. I was freaking out for a minute worried I'd fall, but Eaoul seemed to know I was unsure, and tried to be very steady.

After about five minutes in the air I became more relaxed and I was having fun, and Eaoul could tell. He gained speed and turned upside down in mid air. And I fell. I was literally freaking out as I fell. I thought I was going to die. But Eaoul came up from under me and caught me, squawking happily. He had been showing off. I patted the side of his neck as we landed. Both Jean and Vincent stood their there jaws dropped and their eyes wide.

"Holy CRAP!" said Jean hoarsely. Vincent just nodded in agreement.

I smiled, "Fun." Then I turned and walked away.

"What did you see when you were up there?" inquired Vincent.

"Yea! Tell us!" chirped Jean.

"I saw the city, now grab your stuff, we'll take air Eaoul." I said calmly.

Chapter 6: The City

"Wow!" Jean said zoned. The three of us, and Eaoul, stood staring at the magnificent fortress of a city. The young guards smiled kindly at us, and let us through. The market was a buzz with people and people like creatures, some like the chick we met before, Dana. We walked through the streets and some little kids looked up at Eaoul in awe.

"Is he tamed?" asked a young looking mother that approached us with three young children.

"I would say so, at least, to the most of my knowledge he is," I replied happily. I oddly felt at home talking about creatures and talking to the people in this place. I look back and could sense the Jean and Vincent felt the same.

"HELLO!" bellowed a man that looked like a cross between a pig and an anteater dyed blue, "WELCOME TO OUR CITY OUTSIDERS! May I ask what realm you come from?"

"We honestly don't know sir, but I my self like it here," I replied cheerfully.

"Well knowing it or not you're a guest, I'm the mayor of this town. My name's Donoul! Quite the fine specimen you have there, somewhat of an alpha male though, how on earth did you tame him? I see you have a bow but even bowsmen have trouble with Colots. Are you also a sorceress young lady?" He belted.

"You know, I just found out I was not to long ago! It was the fire lighting thing, I had gotten fairly angry trying to light one and poof!" I replied.

"Ahh, basic fire magik, still surprising you tamed a colot, not to mention an alpha male like this one." Eaoul bark-squawked happily. We all smiled. "How about we find you a nice place to rest and clean up, you've clearly been through a lot." We all looked down at the state we were in, we hadn’t noticed before, but our clothes were torn and looked used. We didn't look bad, but we looked like we'd been working a lot.

'I think that would be nice," I thanked him. He showed us to a nice little inn and gave us some money, which they call dao, for some food and a room. I thanked him again.

"That's no problem what so ever, just come to this address some time tomorrow." He said before he departed. We soon found out that the times between the world were a lot the same, only midnight was called kina and midday was called kona. After dinner we went up to our rooms.

'Wow," I said. None of us could think of anything else to say after the treatment we had received and the most amazing food we had eaten in our lives. "I'm thinkin' I don't WANT to go home!" We all laughed and sighed.

"These last two days have felt like a dream to me.' Vincent said coolly.

"I know!" said Jean as she went into the bathroom to bathe. I looked out the window and seen people of different cultures and species all laughing and getting along, all helping each other, but I also had seen groups of guards with arms patrolling the city. I had wondered why they had so many armed guards in such a nice city like this. Eaoul nudged me in the back and I pulled out of the trance and looked over to see the three of them staring at me.

"It's your turn in the bathroom Doma" Said Vincent.

Chapter 7: Good Morning

"Wow, I have never gotten such a good night's sleep in my LIFE!" yawned Jean as we walked through the quiet morning streets. The Inn's owner told us about a good place to get breakfast, but we'd have to get there early if we wanted a seat. When we went to pay him for the room, he said don't worry about it, leaving us with some extra money for the day.

"I wonder what this place has to eat,' said Vincent.

"I swear Val, The only thing that's ever on your mind is food, and killing things," I sighed as we came to the entrance of the restaurant, "I'm sure they have good food." We walked into the restaurant and were greeted by a tall woman with bunny ears and tail.

"Hello, my name is Kila, A seat for three , and of course a spot for your furry friend here," she said kindly. Eaoul purred softly to her.

As we were eating we heard a loud commotion outside.

"WHAT DID WE TELL YOU?!" Yelled one the armed guards at a young man on his knees.

"P-please I didn't do it! Really! Someone must have planted it on me!" stuttered the man.

"YEA! We believe THAT! Right boys?" the group of guards laughed. The first guard thumped the man in the head and toppled him over, then started kicking him in the gut repeatedly.

"HEY!" I yelled, pulling out my bow and arrow, "leave him the hell alone you little b***h or I'll do you some serious damage." I noticed that Vincent and Jean had also pulled their weapons out.

"HAH! You think the three of you can take us out alone?!" the guard laughed. The guards pulled out their swords. "Kill them," he said sternly.

Chapter 8: Peace Keepers

I let another arrow go. It hit one of the guards in the neck, bulls eye shot, he fell over dead. There were to many of them, no matter how many we took down, there seemed to be more. Suddenly a loud roar came from above and Eaoul dived down and took down a bunch of guards

"GRAAAWK!!!" screeched Eaoul as he charged and bit every guard he could get close to. The three of us smiled and continued to take down the guards. After about 10 minutes of solid fighting the guards were all down. The first guards sat knelt in front of us.

"WELL? WHAT DID WE TELL YOU?!" I yelled into his ear, the same thing he did to that poor man. "You were beating that man because he MAY have taken a few god dammed CARROTS and a FEW measly dao?! You sonuvabitch I should kill you." Just as I turned around and started to walk away, Donoul came around the corner.

"AH! GOOD MORNING MY FRIENDS!" bellowed Donoul, "OH! What in the name of gala has happened here?"

"This p***k was beating on a young clearly malnourished boy for supposedly taking a few dao and carrots from his garden. But why dao would be in his garden is confusing. And when I told him to stop, they pulled their swords and attacked, so we fought back." I explained.

Donoul turned to the injured guard. "Is that true Kinto?" he asked sternly. Kinto looked away from the stern face of Donoul.

"So what if it is?" he replied.

Donoul called in his own guards and they took Kinto away. "Thank you all for saving this young man. Kinto is know to be brutal, but I never knew it was this bad. Come we will treat your wounds at my place and have a bite to eat," snorted Donoul.

"The guards are there to protect the people, not harm them. Normally they don't do that sort of thing, I'm very sorry that you had to deal with it. I suppose your better peacekeepers then they are," explained Donoul, "I would like the three of you to attend a dinner I'm going to tonight with the elite and skilled of this world."

"How many people will there be there?" asked Jean

"No more then 20, not including you of course. All the leaders of the world, and a few elite mayors, and the most skilled peacekeepers in the world."

"Do you really think it would be appropriate for us to attend?" questioned Vincent.

"Of course! No one has been able to match the power of my city other then the leaders and peacekeepers in over three hundred years!' he snorted.

"Well, it can't hurt can it?" I said unsurely, "But where will Eaoul go?"

"He'll be coming with us of course! All of the peace keepers bring there tamed partner with them. None of them have a colot, or a species with the brains and strength of one. The colot if the strongest and smartest creature in the world you know. It's also next to impossible to tame." Said Donoul, "I would LOVE for the four of you to attend with me." The three of us nodded and agreed to come, and Eaoul let out a sound of approval.

Chapter 9: A Meeting, And One Smart Creature

I fidgeted a bit in the olive green dress. It was tight at the top and looser at the bottom. It was fairly short and showed off my long legs. My hair was curled and in an up do.
I smiled and shook many peoples hands as I walked into the large gorgeous ballroom. We were escorted to our seats, and Eaoul sat next to me. Vincent and Jean were both clearly nervous.

"Welcome back to all whom it may concern, today we have four special guests with us," announced an older man at the very middle of the semi circle. He seemed to be the oldest person in the room, "We have with us three new peace keepers, and their tamed colot, Eaoul." A lot of the others with a creature by their side looked over at us quickly and surprised when they heard colot was our creature. We were told to stand and smile at the others in the room as we were named. " These young peoples were able to take down five fleets of Cotalis's armed guards. They helped take down a guard that was highly abusing his power and harming the civilians, and we welcome these young warriors as official peace keepers of Loden!" he announced. The three of us were taken back in surprise. We rose and walked to the front. Me in the lead, Eaoul beside me, and Vincent and Jean behind me , we walked to the front and were given the medal symbolizing the Loden Peace Keepers.

After we sat through some official business with the world leaders we were let to walk around , get food, dance, and converse with the others.

"Congratulations," said a young man that approached me, "I'm Dean. Quite the fine creature you have." A younger looking creature that looked like a tiger stood next to him. "A colot, I never thought I'd see a tame one. I've encountered them in the wild, but never this close. But he's not why I came over"

I smiled "Well, I came over here to get a drink, would you like to get one with me?" I asked flirtatiously.

"I"d love to." Dean was tall with short dark brown hair, he had dark green-blue eyes and a perfect smile. But there was something about him that just set me into suspicion. We went and got a drink. I wasn’t quite sure what it was, but it tasted good. Eaoul, unlike the other creatures, took a plate and got some food from our table. I had no idea he could do that, or that he was that smart.

"Wow" mumbled a few other peacekeepers amazed. I just blinked, nearly as amazed as they were. Eaoul walked over to me and lowered the plate low enough for me to be able to take some. I blinked again then took some. All the things he brought me, I loved. And Eaoul seemed to enjoy my reactions to the food as much as I was eating it.

After the meeting was over we went back to the inn to get a nights sleep.

"That was so much fun!" said Jean happily, both Vincent and I nodded in agreement.

"So now we're peace keepers, do you see why I say keep out of others business unless you want to get your butt kicked?" said Vincent, though both Jean and I knew he was loving it.

"So what do you think we will be expected to do?" I asked, all of us shook our head, but we knew we'd find out soon.

Chapter 10: The First Mission, Dean's Team

A loud banging came on our room's door. I groaned and climbed out of bed. "WHAT?!" I said viciously as I answered the door.

"You three have a peacekeeper mission today, along with my team." Said the man. I looked up to give him a nasty look and snap back at him, then I realized, it was Dean. I groaned again.

"Fine, come in, but we'll be a bit, we all have to get ready," I yawned. I let him in and closed the door. Eaoul was already waking up and looked over at Dean and growled. Eaoul was really defensive in the morning. I walked over to Jean and shook her softly. "Common Jean you gotta wake up, Dean's here, we have a peacekeeper mission."

"Uhgnnnn, fine, fine! I'll get up," she groaned. I walked over to Vincent and jumped onto his bed and kicked him in the side.

"Wake up," I said as he turned and gave me a dirty look, "We have a peacekeeper mission, Dean's here, we're working with his group."

"You're a b***h," yawned Vincent. I jumped down and went into the bathroom. I had a shower and fixed my hair, and the best I could, make up. I realized I didn't bring anything to change into.

"Uh, Jean," I said as I poked my head out of the bathroom, "C-can you grab me something to wear?" Donoul had given us a bunch of cloths in our sizes as I gift. They were a lot different then what we wore in our world. Jean grabbed me an outfit and I got changed. Jean was next in the bathroom, after about an hour and a half we were all ready. I was still really tired as we walked out of the inn. The inn master wouldn't let me pay again, and said, we are free to stay free, any time. It turns out Donoul had talked to him saying to let us stay and he'll pay for it. Dean lead us to a large paved opening with a fountain in the middle. By the fountain there were two others I had seen at the meeting the night before, and Dean's creature, whose name was Kuna. I was beginning to wonder why so many names started with a k, but I put it aside when he introduced us to the rest of his group.

"This is Nala, she's our swords man- woman pardon me," he corrected himself when Nala glared at him. Nala was like the waitress we had had before, she was a bunny girl, they told us she's one of the elite sword wielding of her kind.
"And with is Sauni, he's our blades." Sauni had large claw like blades attached to his wrists that came out far past his fingertips. They were as sharp, if not sharper, then a sword.

"Your sword is very good, where did you get it?" Nala asked Vincent, "I've never seen a sword with such perfect balance and density. It's a PERFECT sword, and from the inscriptions on the handle it looks like it's infused with all four elements, fire, water, earth, and wind!" Nala had a slight obbsession over swords.

The six of us talked for about 10 minutes getting to know each other. We departed the city at around seven in the morning. We were told that there was a commotion in a small village south of the city, and we were being sent to clear it up. We were also warned that there was a high chance that we'd come into battle there.

Back at the inn, the old man that was at the meeting was asking for us to give us our first mission, but the inn master said we'd already departed.

Chapter 11: The First Mission, Bye-Bye Sara

As we walked along the open path towards the village, we heard screams and metal clashing. The six of us started to run to aid the villagers. Small, but clearly fierce, goblin like creatures ran in and out of tents stealing what they could, and killing anyone in their way. Tall dark men with swords fought and slaughtered every man they could see, and then went to find more. Archers dressed much like the swords men stood further back, releasing a hail off arrows onto the villagers.

â"Dark elves!" muttered Nala when she seen the archers. I quickly had my bow and arrow out and was aiming at one of the swords men. He seen me and laughed.

"YOU TRULY THINK A MEAR ARROW CAN HURT ME?!" he laughed horrifically. I aimed it right between his eyes and let go. A swirling light formed around the tip of the arrow as it flew, and went straight through the man's head. He fell over dead.

"No I don't, but clearly a light arrow can," I smirked as I pulled the arrow from his face. I pulled it back again and aimed it at one of three men that Vincent was fighting alone. I let go and the same light swirling effect appeared. But then it split and the real arrow, and two pure light arrows slid through each of their head, killing them at once. We fought and fought. Suddenly an arrow hit me in the leg and I fell over. Everything started to go black.

"SARA!" screamed Jean. I pulled it from my leg and I could tell instantly that it had been poisoned and enhanced with electricity. But it was dark. I looked around me and I saw Dean alone with his bow, no arrow, staring right at me. Then everything went black.

* * *

"GET AWAY FROM HER!" scream Vincent as a tall man in black with purple linings scooped me up. He turned to him and laughed, then disappeared in a poof of black smoke. The smoke spread and impeded their vision. Vincent still swung viciously at the man in front of him, but soon arrows started to peg them down. By the time the smoke parted and they could see again, everyone was gone. Including Sara.

Chapter 12: A Betrayal?

As the five of them entered the city, the old man approached. "YOU TWO!" he bellowed louder then you'd think a man of his age could speak, "Where is your third member, and why are you out on a stroll at a time like this, you have a mission." The two of them looked away and Eaoul gave a squeal of sadness.

"Sara...Got taken on our mis- WAIT? We were just on a mission with these guys," Vincent said, but as he turned around, they were gone, "They were just there a minute ago, Dean and his team."

"They have been on a mission since late last night, and have not returned yet! Now WHERE is SARA?!" he said with anger in his voice.

"She was taken by men in black, they were attacking the village south of here and they took her," cried Jean, "They took her, she's gone, she's goooonnneee!!!" Vincent walked over to her and comforted her.

"This has got to be some kind of joke. Men in black? Were they tall wielded swords, had archers to back them up?" he asked calmly.

"Yes and little goblin like things were raiding the tents." Vincent replied. The old man sighed and shook his head.

"You say Dean and his team was there?" he said finally.

"Yea, Dean, with a bow, Nala, with a sword, and Sauni, with the claws." Vincent answered still trying to calm Jean down.

"A-Are they going to kill her?" asked Jean.

"I don't know, but if they went through the trouble of setting up a trap like that, just to get Sara, I don't think so." He replied.

"Trap? How do you know it was a trap?" asked both of them at once.

"There is no village within a days walking, or flying, distance south of here." He said still shaking his head, "I just wonder why Dean and them were involved."

Chapter 13: The Hall, The Letter

"Uhgg," I groaned as I woke up. I looked around me dizzily. I was in a poorly lit room on an old mattress. I quickly got up and off it. There was one barred window and a door, locked, but that was no surprise. The walls were covered in a cheap looking wallpaper, and there was an empty bookshelf in the corner. Suddenly the door swung open and banged against the wall behind it.

"Good, your awake, NOW COME!" yelled a guard in black armor. He walked over and grabbed me by the hair and pulled me out of the room and down the hall.

We passed many rooms and cells. We went up at least five flights of stairs. The guard pushed me ahead of him and yelled to keep quiet unless I'm talked to, and even then don't be a retard. He pushed me through a large doorway into a huge room filled with guards. He pushed me into the middle then onto my knees.

"YOU!" I said as I looked at the person sitting in the high chair in the back middle of the room.

* * *

"WHAT DO THEY EXPECT US TO DO?! JUST SIT AROUND AND WAIT! SHE COULD BE DEAD BY THE TIME THEY THINK OF A PLAN!" yelled Vincent.

"I know how your feeling, but there's nothing we can do BUT wait. We can't do anything alone, we'd be killed, and how would that help Doma?" said Jean.

"Jeanie, it's been three days, THREE! And they don't have anything for us to do, not even a surveillance mission, what if she's already dead? And if not, what do you think they are doing to her? I'll bet you they aren't treating her kindly." Vincent said pacing across the room. The two of them were in their room like they have been most of the time for the last three days waiting for something, ANYTHING, on Sara. They had been told to stay in the city, and wait for orders from the old man. The waiting drove both of them insane. "I wish I could do more then I am, something ANYTHING, to help."

"Waiting and not doing anything stupid is helping her, what if you went out and got killed, how is that going to help Sara? It's not. How about we go and train like they said would be a good idea, we are going to need more skill if we are going to save her," replied Jean

"I suppose your right," mumbled Vincent. Just as they were getting ready to go train a knock came on the door. Jean answered.

"They've got something,"said the peacekeeper in the door, "a letter brought by one of the darklings."

Chapter 14: The Darkness Shows Her Face

"DANA! YOU FIEND! Why am I here, why were you attacking that village?!" I screamed, the guard came over and kicked me in the side

"I TOLD YOU, DON'T TALK UNLESS YOUR TALKED TO!" screamed the guard that pulled me in here. I glared at him then looked back at Dana.

"Haha, like I said when I first seen you, you're a sorceress, but your also more." She cackled. I looked at her questioningly and she laughed, "Oh you'll find out what I mean in do time my little demon."

"I'm not a demon you evil b***h!" I yelled, the guard came at me again but Dana stopped him, "Why did you give us these weapons, and why did you let me keep mine?" she smiled at me.

"You'll find out in do time."

"THAT'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH!" I screamed, she just laughed. She got off her throne like chair and walked over to me. She took the necklace she wore around her neck off and put it on me. I went to take it of and she stopped me.

"You are not to take this off or I will let the guards attack you." She warned coldly.

* * *

"OH THANK GOD!" sighed Jean. The letter had said : 'Sara is alive and well, and as long as she does as she's told she will stay that way. Now, for now you are NOT to come looking for her, at least not anyone except her two lovely teammates Val and Fota of course. And her lovely colot Eaoul. Now I don't recommend they come, for they will be killed. I will send you another message soon enough.'

"I find it disturbing that they used Doma's nicknames for us," said Vincent quietly. Everyone in the room was quiet. They all looked at each other hoping someone knew what to do, "So...what do we do now?"

Chapter 15: Team Dean and the Disturbing Letters

"We are back!" sung Dean loudly as he entered the inn. Vincent and Jean looked at him coldly, "what's with the cold eyes?"

"Yes I would like to know why we are being given the ice stare." Said Nala as she looked at the other peacekeepers.

"You should know what's going on you sonuvabitch," said Vincent and he stood up.

"Vincent, now's not the time for violence," said Jean hoarsely.

"Well if anyone cares our mission was a success," piped Sauni. Everyone in the room gave him a dirty look.

"You three are under heavy suspicion of working with the darkling in the kidnapping of Sara. You are not welcome at this meeting. You need to leave." Said the old man harshly. They looked around the room for reassurance, and got nothing but nasty looks and coldness.

"Traitors," said Vincent simply after they left. A lot of the other peacekeepers sighed in agreement. Jean looked around the room.

"So...Do we just...wait?" asked Jean quietly. So that's what they did, they waited, and waited. At close to 11 at night the inn the only ones left were Vincent and Jean.

"We should get some sleep," said Vincent. Jean nodded and they went to their room. In their room sat a small young darkling smiling holding two letters.

"You've got mail," she said softly, "And it's really juicy!"

Vincent grabbed a letter and tore it open and started reading. : " Hello my Hunter boy, you don't know it yet, but you will become much stronger then you are, but at a cost. For now you are as you are, but not for long."

Jean took the other letter and opened it. : "Hello my young Thief. For you I feel sad, for you aren't going to see the end of this story, and this isn't a threat my dear, but for now I will not tell you why , I'll let you think of your own story to follow, and own way to die."

The two sat staring at their letters. The young darkling giggled and left through the window into the night.

Chapter 16: Aria, The Dark's Daughter!

I sat in a room much better then the room I woke up in. There was a new bed with clean sheets, a full bookshelf, and a doorway to a training room. Dana had given me more access to the fortress with less watch over me. I was wondering why she hadn't killed me when I was knocked out, but I put it aside and walked over to the doorway to the training room. As I entered I saw another girl around my age practicing with a bow.

"Hey," I muttered quietly. She stopped and turned to me

"Hey," she replied, "I'm Aria, what's your name?" I looked at her blankly. Like she hadn't heard I was here.

"Sara," I replied, "I see you use the bow, so do I but I've been working on my magiks lately."

"Oh so YOU'RE why I've been seeing some burnt to hell practice dummies," she said. I nodded and grabbed my bow and a few arrows. I aimed it at one of the back dummies and let go. The arrowhead lit into a fierce blue flame and hit, burning the dummy to smithereens. "Your good. I only know one other sorcerer, and he can't use and weapon worth s**t!" We both laughed. I liked her.

"Well I AM awesome so..." I joked, "so why are you here?"

"Well, I'm Dana's daughter so..."She replied. I gasped and looked at her.

"R-Really?!" I stuttered.

"Yea, my rooms right through there," she said and pointed to the door across from mine, "So you're my mom's captive eh?" I looked at her, sighed, than nodded, "Well don't worry, she's not planning on killing you." She sounded so cheerful it just annoyed me.

"Well," I said as I let go of another arrow that formed 2 electric arrows with it and took 3 dummies down, "I'd much rather be back in the city. Partly so I can kick Deans a** for getting me here."

"Dean? Tall, with short, dark, brown hair? He's a peacekeeper?" she asked.

"Yup that;s the one, looks bout Dana's age." Aria laughed.

"That's my uncle," she said.

"Are you serious?!" I yelled, not realizing how loud I was. She nodded, then I sighed and let go of another arrow that turned to ice and completely froze the dummy then shattered it.

Chapter 17: Training

Vincent hit the dummy with full force again and again. He had been training for the last few days almost none stop. Behind him Jean was also attacking a dummy. She had gotten really good with her daggers, and she quickly sliced through the normal dummies. So they had a stronger one brought in.

"Jeanie, you need to relax," said Vincent. Jean had been training almost none stop since they got their letter from the young darkling girl. You could clearly see the lack of sleep forming on her face. Jen hadn't let Vincent see her letter because she didn't want to worry him. How true it was she didn't know but she wasn't taking any chances. "I think we've trained enough for now." Jean glared at him coldly.

"I'll have trained enough when we have Sara back," she said angrily. Eaoul walked into the room in his newly fit battle armor and he cawed at the two of them. "Common it's time to train out aerial tactics." Jean jumped on Eaoul's back and Vincent sighed and did the same.

* * *

"You getting good at this," said Aria as we fought with claws. Over the last few days she had been teaching me how to use them. After the first day I got a hang of them and started to add elements to them. "OW!" squealed Aria when I hit her in the side. She collapsed.

"Oh my god! I'm sorry! Is it bad?" I asked worriedly and ran over to her. A quiet laugh came from her as she attacked my legs. I toppled over. "You scheming b***h!" I laughed as I got back up and into fighting position. Large cuts and bruises covered both of us. A laugh came from he doorway and we both looked over.

"Nice progress! Both of you!" Said Dana clapping. I stood and looked at her coldly. I still hated her. "Weather you hate me or not, your still staying here under my watch"

I turned and started to walk away, "I'm going to train my magiks," I muttered to Aria as I walked past her and into the other room.

"So? You've seen first hand her progress, do you think we should help her see her true being soon?" Dana asked her daughter quietly.

"Soon, her ability with the claws needs to improve more first," replied Aria

Chapter 18: A Calm Day

"Jeanie, we are taking today off from training and going, Gala help me, to a spa Donoul said was good," said Vincent a bit after they woke up. It had been about a month since Sara and every few days they got a message saying I was still ok. "You have been working to hard."

"Well I suppose ONE day off wouldn't hurt," muttered Jean. The two of them through on some casual clothing and went for breakfast and then to the spa.

* * *

"Well," said Nala as the three of them walked through the field.

"I don't know," replied Dean.

"You don't know anything?" questioned Sauni.

"Nope,"

"Then why are we here?" Said Nala.

"Cause I said so."

"So there's no reason?" said Sauni.

"Didn't say that."

"THEN TELL US!" they yelled in unison.

"Nope. You'll find out in due time."

* * *

I gasped for air, as there was a pause in our battle. I cast a lightning spiral spell and she quickly got out of the way. Both of us were now totally exhausted, panting as we held our weapons tightly. I charged her and cut her side open. She spun and cut down my back. I stumbled and hit the wall. I slid along it to the ground.

"I- I think that's good for today," I said as Aria also collapsed to the ground.

"Yea, I agree," she gasped. Aria had become my friend, a good friend. I trusted her, and to my disgust I found myself starting to trust Dana to. Just as the two of us started to laugh at how serious we were when we were fighting Dana came into the room. She looked serious.

"Ladies, I'd like the two of you to come with me. It's time." She said darkly. I looked at Aria confused and she wore the same face as her mother.

"Common Domashi." She muttered to me. Domashi was the nickname Aria came up for me. I could never understand why everyone used my last name, nor could I understand or ever guess in my wildest dreams what was going to happen to me very soon.

Chapter 19: The Darkest Demon

The skies over all of Loden darkened to a near black. Lightning struck everywhere. Demons and the Darks servants raided villages and cities.

Many guards held the giant gates shut to the raiding servants and the bowsmen an peacekeepers fought to keep the demons out of Cotalis's Inner city.

"Damn!" muttered Vincent as he fought off demons wave by wave. He could see that Jean was doing the same.

"WE CAN'T HOLD IT ANY LONGER!" screamed the guards holding the doors. All the peacekeepers ran over to guard the city from the servants and left the demons to the rest. Eaoul screeched from above as the demons covered him, he made a fierce dive throwing all of them off, and took down a few of the servants. He flew down and Jean jumped onto his back.

"JEAN NO! YOU'LL GET KILLED!" Vincent screamed

"If it's how I go, it's how I go," replied Jean and flew off.

* * *

"AHHHHHHH!" I screamed as the seal slowly started to release. "GAHHHH!" I started to cry and fell to my knees. You could see a look of sympathy in both Dana and Aria's eyes, but they knew they couldn't help me now. I could feel a darkness release into my mind, but it was so familiar, like it had been there forever. I screamed again.

Waves of severe pain hit me every few seconds. I could feel the ground shake as I screamed. I could feel immense power flowing through me and with every pulse it got stronger, but my shoulder blades felt like they were about to split open.

And I was right. A loud ripping sound followed my a blood curdling scream came from me. Large black wings sprouted from my back. The waves were still hitting me as strong, but it didn't hurt as bad.

After a few more waves a pain they finally died down. I stood up and I could feel major changes in my body. For one, I had wings coming out of my back. My hair was black with a red streak through the bang, and, from what Aria told me, my eyes were silver.

"The Darkest Demon," muttered Dana as she smiled. I looked over myself and I tried to grasp the amount of immense power that I felt flowing through me. I looked up and saw the black clouds starting to part.

Chapter 20: The Luna Twins

I looked into the mirror and seen what was now Sara Ann Domania-Shiana. My hair was ink black, with a silver bang lining the side of my face. My eyes had also gone a silvery colour, and when I smiled, a set of small fangs poked out.
My new tail flicked back and forth as I examined myself. "GAHHHH," I yelled, then turned to drop face first into my bed, covered in cushions.

"Well, I think you look good," said Dana. I gave her a nasty look and she sighed and left.

"I could handle being a sorceress, but a DEMON? FOR GODS SAKE! Yea might as well turned me into a frog, least that's a creature from my world," I vented, "I mean common! Now I'm a god damned creature of the DARK damn it! I can't deal with it!" I stared angerly at the dresser, which soon caught on flames. I screamed then buried myself deep into my pillows and sobbed.

"Ok, for ONE, I'm also a creature of the dark, remember? Watch what you say round here, and two, it's not as bad as you'd think, I mean common, your Domania LUNA!" she said. She wasn't very good at comforting people. I looked at her somewhat confused. She sighed and started to explain. "Domania Luna was one of the Luna twins, born from the lights goddess and our god. Domania took to the dark, and her sister, Shiana, to the light.

* * *

The demons and servents treated from the city walls as the black clouds parted. A cold feeling swept everyone as they looked around to see their allies laying dead around them. Vincent ran through them, searching the crowd, and the dead, for Jean.

"Where is she," he mumbled as tears rolled down his face. He continued to search untill a voice came from behind him.

"Whatcha doin Vincy?" Jean asked, laughing. He turned, looked at her blankly for a moment, then tackle hugged her.

"I'm.....So glad y-your safe," he blubbed as he held her close, "I-I was s-so......so worried. I though they...." He cried even harder and held her tightly against his chest.

"It's ok, I'm fine, really," she said as he hugged her, "I can handle a few weak demons ya know, and Eaoul was with me, remember?"

Vincent nodded and looked down at her, then leaned in and kissed her gently.

Chapter 21: A Dark Choice

I ran through the dark halls of Dana's castle, claws in hand. I stopped when a group of guards ran up to me. I smiled and quickly killed them. I continued through the poorly lit halls.

"Sara, stop, your making the wrong choice here," tried Aria as I ran up to her. I snorted and attacked. She dodged and sliced open my back. I squealed and turned and faced her, us now in the others previous place. "Sara, you can rule the world with us, stop this, please!" I laughed than turn and ran.

I came to the corner before the hall's door. Three of the head guards stood blocking the large entrance. I pulled an arrow out and pulled it far back. I released and the arrow split into 3, two ice, and the original. It froze and shattered them before they knew what hit them. She ran into the large room where Dana was standing.

" Well done!" Dana applauded as the mental image morphed back into what was the great hall, "and not a scratch on you! Wonderful training session don't you agree?"

"What? But Aria got me on the back," I said trying to see where the cut should be, but it was only a faint scar, and it, like every other scar I had, faded quickly.

"See how much better it is to be on our side my child?" said Dana, "You could help us rule the world...that is, if you'll join us." I looked over at Aria who was sitting not far from us. She smiled and mouthed 'Do It' I sighed and looked at my feet.

"Well..." I said quietly.

* * *

"Awwww how sweet!" cackled the young demon that just kept reappearing, "Sorry to ruin the moment, but you got mail, and you’ll want to read it!"

Jean took the letter and shoved it in her pocket. "I know how much you love seeing our reactions to these letters, and I'm not reading it until you tell us your name," she said sternly. The demon girl looked at them and smiled.

"Tina," she said simply. Jean smiled and opened the letter. "Hello my Hunter, my Thief, Sara is doing fine, for I know you are worried about her, but at the moment there is a more important thing you should be worrying about, like the safety of the whole city- nay- county. We will be attacking in three days time, so run, get your armies together find as many men as you can, but I suggest you don't, for far less need die that way."

They were off running before they finished the letter.

Chapter 23: Fox Girl

I sat on am plush bed, staring at the ceiling. Aria ran her fingers softly threw my hair. "Sara...I know your afraid you'll hurt your friends...but you made the right choice..." Aria cooed softly.

"I..I don't know if I did...or have or..." I sighed, "It's just so...so...I don't know..." Suddenly, a loud commotion became audible down th hall.

"LET TO THE ******** SO YOU STUIPID BASTARDS!" A girl screamed. I ran over to her and the guards.

"Let her go, I'll handle her, go back to your rounds," I hissed at the two men, "Come with me..." I muttered, pulling her into my room, then locking the door behind me.

Aria sighed, "Ah, an intruder, always fun for the guards..."

"What's your name girl?" I asked coldly.

"Why the ******** should I tell you?" The girl snapped back. My eyes thinned and I bore my fangs, "M-my name is Taliana..." she muttered.

When Aria tried to pull off her bandanna, Taliana flinched away. I sat back on my bed and eyed her carefully. "Why don't you want to remove the bandanna?" I asked quietly

"Well..." Taliana muttered, but after eyeing my tail, fangs, and wings, she said, " I'm one the last of me village...I'm a Cako..." she muttered, pulling off the bandanna, reveling fox ears. "I...I also have a tail, but I keep it's hair cut short, so I can hide it...."
