For classwork we'll be trying a dice method used in Meree's DaDa class. After i give the classwork instructions, you will "click the drop-down labeled 'Post Action' and choose 'Roll dice'. Choose 10-sided dice and the number of dice will be five. " (Alternitively you could use the random number generator from 5-50)
5-10 - Your spell had no effect whatsoever... 11-20 - Your spell had an effect...but not the intended one... 21-29 - Your spell worked alittle, but not alot 30-40 - Your spell worked for the most part, but not totally 41-50 - Your spell worked great!
There will usually be a counter-spell, so getting it to work in one try isn't usually necessary. Let's say your supposed to turn a turtle into a top hat:
RP the settings : "Calli looked at his turtle, wondering what the turtle would think..."
then the spell: "He raised his wand, hoping for the best"
then check the number rolled or generated and edit accordingly. Here are two examples:

Calli, looked at his turtle, feeling sorry for it, and wondering weither the turtle would remember being a top hat afterwards...he raised his wand and cast the spell...
He was pleasantly surprised that he had made a top hat, but wasn't sure if it was supposed to have the same design as the turtle's shell...but figured it was a good enough looking hat.

Calli, looked at his turtle, feeling sorry for it, and wondering whether the turtle would remember being a top hat afterward...he raised his wand and cast the spell...
He gasped in surprise as his turtle's legs turned into frog legs and it started hopping from desk to desk. He stood rooted to the spot, not sure whether to laugh or try to catch it...
