Right now, I'm a Yellow Belt. I'm getting a Orange Belt in 3 months.

I just got back not a half an hour ago from watching my brother-in-law and sister acquire their first degree black belts. It was an awesome show.

IMHO, 1st Black in less than 4 years is way too quick for someone with no martial arts experience. Sounds like a new thread!

Well, it is possible, quite rare but possible, for some one to pick up very fast, almost immediately, everything that they were taught.

That's how alot of arts are like now. I know quite a few people who got Tae Kwon Do Black Belt within 2 years. (Supposedly)

well i'm a Yellow Belt and i like it but i want the black belt because i want to be a master 4laugh
And by the way you can get the black belt in 2 years this isn't possible.. you must work very hard for the black belt

and you are right you need less than 4 years... my teacher told me this too
