What do you think about the legendary ending?

Note: I am not that good at halo considering my brother hogs the 360
I only watched the ending on youtube

This is not my video I just saw it online. Besides if you want to play Halo 3 campaign with me you can't because my brother sold it for some good money. But I can play on multiplayer and odst. My Gamertag is eragon1997 if you ever want to play with me.

Hard to say. I think he could be heading towards Reach, which would mean that Halo Reach is not actually about The Fall of Reach, but more about some new conflict on the planet. That's the only thing I can think of, because Bungie said they're not making anymore Halo games after Reach.

When you see the memorial of dead soldiers up close, you see the numbers 117 carved into it. My theory is that the piece of the ship chief is on, is crashing back to earth, instead of everyone thinking he is dead. Just a thought.

Bungie is currently having an animated series made that is supposed to eventually explain what happens after halo 3. There are two episodes you can find on youtube they are released every 2 weeks. heres the website that tells a little more about it:

The planet the chief is falling down onto looks to be mad entirely of metal, i think it could be another shield world like onyx, or maybe it is Onyx and chief somehow gets a Spartan family reunion with the reaming Spartan II's, Spartan III's Mendez and the Catherine Halsey.

Nice theory Nerevar Telvanni 'cause I read the summary of ghosts of onyx online. But still the chief is near where the ark is and the portal closed before he passed through so I doubt it. But maybe it is another Halo ring?
