So, the car we bought was a fraud! Well, not the car itself just the sale. We had no idea that the car was sold illegally to the guy we bought it from. Apparently when he bought it, one of the people who sold it to him never signed the title. Also, he never registered the vehicle and never got a title. So they voided the title we got with the car and we can't register it. We already paid insurance on it and excise tax and we can't even drive the thing. Now we either have to get the woman who sold it to the guy we bought it from to get a new title and then the guys who we bought it from to get a title and then we can get a title and liscence plates, Or they have to give us our money back and take the car back. If they don't, we have to get a lawyer and press charges. It's a huge mess and we already spent most of our money on this stupid car we can't even drive, and now we're going to be scraping by for a few months, and my husband now has no car to find work. Which means we're living off of my disability and I don't get that much.

Where do they live?
I have a gun and shovel, and I'm pretty sure no one will miss them.

If the sale wasn't legal then how'd you pay taxes/insurance on it?

JoeDangIt If the sale wasn't legal then how'd you pay taxes/insurance on it? We did the insurance online they don't ask for the title. and the excise tax people at town hall didn't need the title either. but when we got to the dmv, they looked at the title and realized that technically because of a few missed signatures it was an illegal sale. But we've got it figured out now and we're going to get the car registered today. then we put better tires on then take it to my aunts neighbors to get a sticker.
