We all know music is always better to listen to live...And Aerosmith proves this true better then almost any bands.

I'm just wondering if anyone has ever seen the band live ever, or even just ever seen any of the members anywhere actually, as it's been shown on Youtube that people like to film Tyler while he shops at the grocery store.

~~~
Anyway, I managed to buy tickets and see them on 7/15/09 in Atlanta, only a few rows away. ZZ Top opened and played an amazing show.
Then it got dark and they took some time to set up Aerosmith, also draping a giant curtain around the stage with the logo, and playing some awesome bands like Buckcherry through the speakers. Forty-five minutes later, everything got dark and Joey started the drum solo to Eat The Rich. After the drum solo he hits that last bass bit and the curtain drops with the lights flashing and Joe playing starting the riff.
I don't think I'll ever forget the concert though. It beat out all of my other best nights of my life. The played songs like Last Child, Eat The Rich, Back In The Saddle, The Train Kept A Rolling, Janie, Love In An Elevator, Mama Kin, and then finished with Walk This Way.
I just wish I had been to the show 10 days after in Vegas I think. Slash played with them for a while.
Anyway, with the whole Steven situation, this might have been one of their last concerts ever as the real Aerosmith. I hope they get back together though and make another ******** album.
I've never been to an Aerosmith concert, but it was a dream of mine. Not sure if that'll ever happen.
Yeah, on Slash's Facebook page, he was saying he had a great time at the Las Vegas show, rockin' out with Aerosmith. Sounds amazing.
You're very lucky that you have seen them, even if it was just once.
Sounds like an amazing show. I'm jealous. I really hope that they can get back together....
I've been wanting to see them live so much, it has only been a recent dream, but oh how big of a dream it was. =/
ZZ Top is a good band too. At least you had fun at one of their last shows.
I spent all summer looking for a job so I could buy tickets to an Aerosmith concert...Then Steven fell before they could even get to California...I know it wasn't his fault, but damn...How high up was the stage from the ground for him to fall that hard? At least he's all better now.
He was as high up as an average stage. The video is sadly on YouTube so you can find it on there to see. Not the most pleasant thing to see. Poor Steven crying but it's there. He of course probably landed in an awkward position, too, since he was doing one of his little dances to keep the audience occupied (I heard there was some sound malfunction or something, but that could've been rumored).
I've seen that footage on YouTube. I heard there was a thunderstorm or something before the show that made the stage all slippery and shorted out the amps or something, so Steven went out on stage and danced for the crowd. Then he slipped and fell. Poor Steven.
I never heard the thunderstorm part, but it's entirely possible. We agree with the sound part though so that must be right. He was only trying to entertain the audience sad
Steven Tyler is still with the band. He has announced that he has taken a break.
How did ZZ Top do on "Sharp Dressed Man"?
I wish I was at that concert.
