Today we will be repotting mandrakes. Of course we will not be working with adult mandrakes but the younger ones. Their cries wont kill you but they will knock you for quite sometime.
How the activity will work. You will be using the roll dice command with numbers 1-25. If you roll a 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, or 24 you will receive 1 point. 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16, 19, or 22 you will get 2 points. 2, 5, 8, 11, 14, 17, 20, or 23 you will get 3 points and if you roll a 25 you will receive 4 points. Please role-play while doing this. this will be a competion were every house can win points. You can do this as many times as you like until Friday 13th. All the points will be added up for each house and then ill determine how many points will be given out. Due to the fact that there is a great number of Ravenclaws in my class extra credit will be available for the other houses to turn in on Friday 13th.
Extra Credit (For all other Houses EXCEPT Ravenclaw)
Write a 8 sentence paragraph or more on mandrake properties and use in potions and any other magical means.

Candide, being the awesome go first kind of guy he is, grabs the mandrake. Apperently he does so with great success because there is not much noise. He sticks the creature in his face and says " a booga booga boo" then puts it back! He spins triumphantly and dares anyone from Ravenclaw to do better.

((I'm sorry that really isn't fair with the extra credit you should just except like the first two.))
Randy stepped up he looked at candide, He was the most Slytherin person ever and he was a gryffindor. He was very angry about the extra credit, but than again it was after all probably because Ravenclaw greatly out numbered Gryffindor. He grabbed the Mandrake.

Kurt took a firm grasp on his mandrake. *I'll show him.* Randy thought as he saw Candides smirk. Kurt did a pretty decent job he looked over to randy who seemed to be in a bad mood already. "Don't be mad, you did say that Herbology was your worst subject." he smiled.

Sam waited for everyone around him to go paying close attention to everyones mistakes and taking note. He finally took hold of his mandrake and pulled up.

Sam was not happy with his proformace so tried again seeing that he could. "I just want an average proformance." he muttered and pulled again. Sam whipped his hands. "That's a little better."

Nikki quickly pulled out his mandrake and tried to repot it. Nikki smiled as he was also now at the top of the class. after he was very succsessful in pulling out his mandrake and repoting it.

Roger grapped his mandrake and quickly tried to repot it. Roger did a decent job as he managed to repot it. he was not however satisfied.
