How do you grenade jump on Halo 3? I need it to get the Famine Skull.

Be host.
Throw grenade at feet.
Jump as grenade explodes.
????
Reach destination that was too high up/far away before.

That skull is a pain in the a**. I recommend playing on co-op and have arby just stand in the upper level so you can kill him and grab his plasmas over and over. Grenade jumping is easier with plasmas, imo.

Just keep at it and you'll get it eventually. I heard some people used a rocket launcher to knock it down, but I've never tried it.

Thanks! I also heard if you have a chopper, and you go around far enough, you can drive up the rocks, park the chopper on the slant and jump on the chopper to help you get up. I have never tried it though. But yeah, thanks!

Umm... not like bagging you out man im just telling you but you cannot move the skull with any type of explosion/movement, it can only be moved after you pick it up.. because clutter-lock is switched off afterwards

This is how i did it, got two ghosts onto the structure then parked them one on top of the other next to the pillar with the skull jumped onto the ghosts and then up to the skull, it was not easy and it took many try's.
