Sorry I'm not the greatest person to give advice on this since I can't get on here very often. My computer is slow and I have dial-up so I have to wait until at least 3:00 a.m. my time to get guilds to load. I'm also working days right now so I have to get up extremely early so I'm not up on the computer until 3:00 like I used to be.

How are we suppose to know what the other members' interests unless they post? If you're going to make the suggestion, you should post some of your interests so we know what they are. Mine are in my profile but here are a few: Lara Croft, vampires, fairies, unicorns, dragons, rock music, RPG video games, drow, shifters, skulls, heavy metal music and Anthropology.

We have 12 members.
7 crew and 5 members?
You want more active members?
Then get out and get them in the guild.
Tell your members what kid of people you want in the guild else it'll become a spam guild.

If the vice captain wasn't so impatient and would give people time to have real lives instead of banning everyone, that would help too.

Pft, not with the people in the guild that I'm Vice Captain for. 117 people and less than 10 of them have posted since January. It's ridiculous.

Books (Currently The Phantom of the Opera)

Writing
Drawing
Cooking
Video Games (Currently Persona 3 FES)
That's about it... (What's everybody else doing currently?)

You'll have to excuse me. I'm just a little miffed that my real life friend was banned. She's in college and doesn't have time to be on here much. It's only been a few months for her. The captain disappears for over a year sometimes and no one cares. That's why he restarted the guild this year. I'll just have to re-invite her when I know she has time to be on here. I was supposed to be in bed an hour ago. That could be where the others are.

The Captain is, as usual, taking a vacation from a guild full of non-posters that give him emo fits. He can do this because it's his guild. As for me, I just banned everyone who didn't reply in a month....like I was told to do. One exception was made, for the one person who's absence had already been cleared.
As for "go out and get members", there have been numerous pushes to get everyone in the guild doing that. It usually ends with the Captain or I recruiting a dozen or so people, of which maybe a few become active...temporarily. Which is why we have a thread discussing how to get people who will actually come back regularly in here.
I apologize if the tone here is a bit standoffish. I've been sick since the beginning of the week and now my uvula is trying to strangle me (not kidding, it has actually descended into my throat). I'm not really in a good mood right now to begin with, and you guys are badmouthing not only the leader of this guild (flighty though he be), but my real life brother. Besides, some of the people weren't banned, they left on their own.

Sorry Rukario_Rue you should know by now it doesn't take much to aggitate me sometimes. I'm starting to come down with something myself. My parents are sick. I'm stressed because my dad could die in his sleep due to his sleep apnea anytime he takes a nap. Work is pissing me off because I'm not getting any hours. I'm just a walking bomb right now.
I have no idea where to find members since I never find people when I'm on at 4:00 a.m. I can't even get people to post in my threads when I bump them up for an hour. I wish they'd make an option to select more than ten people to invite at a time and make a drop down menu to select friends from.

I rarely venture out into forums, when I do it's only a couple of posts in the Writer's Forum.
