As I logged in today to check the latest announcements, I saw there was another aquarium update. When I read this announcement, I got the feeling that we may not have seen the last of our Overseer and his nemesis Sentinel. I sent a PM to [NPC] Mirai and Barrett and written the following:
Dear Barrett,
Please do not despair, because the Overseer is in dire need of our help. Not just yours or mine, but everyone's that has been supporting his cause. We cannot afford to lose faith in the Benevolent One as this would render him even more powerless than he already is. I think it is time for us to return the favor for all the gifts we have received from him. Since you have been looking after him for a long time, he'll consider you a loyal friend so you should seek him out and stand by him in his quest to restore his power. But he will not be alone in this. We of the Benevolent Order shall support him in his endeavor.

I didn't get the impression that Barrett had lost his faith; I got the impression that he was upset and frightened because his deity got picked up and thrown god knows where. sweatdrop
Mirai's normality against his "TEH OVERSEER HAS FORSAKEN US!!! *panic!*" really made me giggle X3

And yeah, I kinda feel bad for Barrett lol. After finding out that the demi-gods lost their powers I immediately thought, "...what now of the Benevolent Order?", so I guess I know how he feels. xD

It matters not, Nii-chan. Even though the Benevolent One has lost his powers, we can still worship him :3 Nothing much has changed, except he's one of us now but he might still be able to learn magic.

Posting this here cause I'm pretty sure looking up Barrett yesterday had something to do with this. >u> I had the weirdest dream last night. I can't remember much of it now but I do remember clearly seeing a Gaia announcement that had something to do with the Christmas event. It went something like:
"In this event we'll people a chance to get something really rare! Just about as rare as the exclusive skins for Demonbusters! And yes, we'll even ban Mirai."
The last bit MADE. ME. LOL. rofl
