A mysterious event causes everyone on the planet to simultaneously lose consciousness
for 137 seconds, during which people see what appear to be visions of their lives approximately six months in the future.

But what about those who didn't see anything? Only darkness.
Does this mean they won't be alive six months from now? A lot of them seem to think so. They think they are Already Ghosts.

I find this show to be one of the most enthralling things on television.
It centers around the FBI team that is investigating the event as well as a few other characters connected with the agents. The team investigates a number of events related to the flashforward, including "Suspect Zero," who did not lose consciousness during the event. To add a bit of melodrama and keep the show from becoming too much of a sci-fi CSI the personal revelations contained within the flashforwards command much of the characters' focus.

Recent addition to the cast Dominic Monaghan, played merry the Hobbit in The Lord of the Rings Trilogy.
