The fortress and meeting grounds where the necromancer leaders meet up and gather around the Council of Underseers. Each of these seers have contributed something new to philosophy of the necromancer society. These creatures are very particular on individuals seeking an audience with them. Especially when it comes to flesh living beings in which case they don't seem to fancy. But they are a higher intelligence of undead who believe it or not, have a higher sense of reasoning than the lesser-undead. Striking a deal with this abominable council a feat accomplished by someone holding a special something in mind that they can benefit from themselves. Unreached deals usually result in the death in compensation for those who have wasted their time.

(Past -> 60 years ago)Over in one of the eastern over look towers Council member Varak could be found gassing out at the many other towers that made up the Nermolica Fortress. It was dawn and there was a darkness that was beginning to shroud it self over Nermolica Necropolis. Varak was voted on to the council just over a hundred years ago making him one of the youngest council members. He was very honored of this status and held a great loyalty to the necromancer ways however some believed that he took it too far at times. His undying need for knowledge kept him out of some Council affairs. Even though he claimed that his search for knowledge was for undead and Necromancers alike he was still frowned upon for it. Do they not trust me? Varak didn't like how they did this but it didn't bother him much because that meant they would not bother him much and he could keep his research, knowledge, and power to him self. Walking up behind him Varak could hear the steps of a stumbling undead servant. With it came a rolled up piece of parchment. It was a notice of rejection to the next council meeting. They cant even tell me in person! Damn fools!........ (Present)Varak found him self going through past memories. He couldn't help it, it was just one of those days. It was the day he summoned the Kokouin demon. Varak watch Ko running around doing random things to occupy him self. The Demon was play full but powerful. Over time Varak had come to think of the Demon as more of a friend rather than a tool. Every one that knows of Ko hates his child like behavior but Varak found him amusing. It is actually what gave him a sense of normality, so to speak. His next memory would take him back to just after he got the rejection notice. (Past -> 60 years ago)"What is the council hiding?" Varak said while slamming his two fists into one of the council members desks. "We should ask you the same question. Going off and performing un-regulated summoning rituals. The council feels as though you are the one hiding some thing from the council." Varak's eye twitched in anger. "Me? I have told you and the council before, my research is done for the council and necromancer community. I am a council member damn it! I diser...." Varak was cut off by the other council member. "The only reason that you are a council men is that one of our times was up on this plain of existence and we needed some one to replace him. You were the only one next that has any knowledge of our ways. Barely I might add. Yet despite such facts you throw them out the window. The council doesn't like it." "What is the council afraid of?!" Varak demanded. His Seishou was starting to rise and concentrate in his right arm. His arm began glowing and small bursts of green smoke and plasma began dripping to the rock floor beneath him slowly burning the surface. "How can you not see that I am bringing a new respect to the Necromancers. I will be the one to bring us out of the grave!" The council men smiled as Varak began showing signs of anger. "Attack me and the council will surely hunt you down and kill you. You are better off to keep to your self and not say any thing at all." Varak was done talking by now. Keep to my self! Fine! I have had it!......... (Present)Varak has calmed in the past sixty years and has learned to keep his personal practice hidden. Most of it at least. He was in his personal chambers sitting at his desk with his elbows propped up and the tips of his fingers gently touching, forming the shape of a triangle. He could hear Ko in the back ground making crashing sounds as he was learning from life experiences. At times it was hard to think because of their minds being connected. Ko's rabid thoughts were hard to suppress at first but they have decreased over time and Varak has learned a great deal from them. Roughly ten feet behind him was a huge personal library that extended the length of the wall and 12 feet high. Varak had read all of them, many more than once. He has been searching for the key to becoming the ultimate Necromancer. The ability to control and be the definition of life and death. Having the ability to walk not only the material plane but the Nether, permanently and forever. To be truly alive and dead at the same time. The necromancers dream to eternal life.

Ko was bored from running around the fortress. He truly wanted to go hunting in the Abysmal Forest but he always had to get permission from Varak even though Varak never really cared if Ko went somewhere close as long as he was careful. That thought truly vexed Ko. "Why does he not care unless its something dangerous. I'm little more than a glorified pet but he treats me like an equal most of the time. What is wrong with these humans. Don't they understand what servitude is? Oh well no use dwelling on it,"Ko thought to himself.
Ko burst into Varak's study with a grin plastered on his face. Ko was in his most comfortable form as he stood a little over seven feet tall and looked to be a black panther standing on its hind legs with his front paws looking more like fingers than paws. "Hey Varak I wanna get somethin' to eat. You wanna go to the forest and throw some spells around while I hunt?"

Varak thought for a moment making it look as though he was ignoring Ko. One day I will show these fools What it really means to have power. The corner of his lip twitched as he tilted his head slightly. It has been a wile since they left the Fortress grounds and he needed get out and loosen up a bit. "Very well." Varak popped his neck and stood up. Closing one of his books on reincarnation he would walk over and place it in its rightful resting place fourth shelf up in the first bay. Ko would lead the way out in excitement as they left the study. Varak would shut the door and make sure it was securely locked. Placing the key to the door in is pocket they would exit down the ten flights of stairs and out the building. [exit -> Abysmal Forest]

Ko growled in delight at Varak's agreement. He then bolted out of the door and down the flights of steps as fast as he could. Ko personally hated taking the stairs. He would have rather produced wings out of his back and just flew to the forest but he knew Varak would be annoyed at leaving him in the fortress for a few moments without him. Varak hated everyone in the fortress from Ko's perspective and Ko had no idea why. Ko shook the thoughts from his head and continued on to the Abysmal Forest.

Suddenly and slowly at a large area near the entrance of the Fortress, many Ones started to appear, First a One appeared at the door, Next two appeared standing sideways on the walls, soon at the front area One would appear in around a thousand different places before the real One choose its location and Phased into the thread of the material realm. One didn't move for the moment it took the replica's to vanish, He exhailed gently and opened his eyes. "Its been a while since I visited home, I wonder if my chamber is still around." He said, stretching out his hand and inspecting his fingernails.

Varak had just got done reading a new book to add to his collection. It was basically another history book on the dark arts used by Necromancers. He loved to read that sort of thing because he found it to be quite an insight to what Necromancers have none in the past and what he could learn from them. Varak sat there holding the closed book in his left hand and stroking his face and chin with the right thinking about the book. Hum, I like that. I wish it gave more information on how he did that. This is the second time I have read about him. I wish it were easier to find particular souls in the Nether... Finding specific souls in the Nether was easier said than done. Much to popular belief, a soul is not, solid, when it leaves the body and when it enters the Nexis of the Nether. The immaterial realm is, for lack of a better word, sloshed together. Nothing is ever the same. Things are constantly shifting and changing including a persons soul. Yes there may be a lot of souls that retain their original appearance However over time they will become reflections of their selves. In laymen terms If a soul is bad it will become a demon or if a soul is good it will become an angel. There are hundreds of variations, a good example would be Ko. And just as often a soul may look like its reflection the second it enters the immaterial realm. However no one can tell what is to become of the soul until death. The so called Reapers have the ability to sense the condition of the soul before hand but it is usually best felt right when they Reap the soul. Glancing over on his desk is noticed a piece of parchment and remembered that he had been requested to attend on of the Council meetings. His name and two other council members were on the list. The Council hardly ever handled matters with every one. Since most of them had their own affairs to attend to they would leave unimportant matters to only a small hand full. Most simple matters could be handled by a couple of Council Men. The minimum was two. Ans since they were close to that number, must have seemed less than important. Little did they know that it would have more importance than they first realized. I almost forgot about this meeting. It had been over a month since his last contribution. Yet again I must attend something that has little to no significance... Well there was the matter of their undead armies status that they let me participate in a wile back. Varak smiled at this thought. They trust me with an army but they wont even let me have a say in simple civil ordeals. Varak shook his head confusingly at this thought. And the letter said some thing about it being under my jurisdiction. Some thing about their ambassador? This was odd of them. The Council had never placed any thing under "his" jurisdiction before. This intrigued him and made him want to go to it. It was scheduled for just before mid day of today. There was still plenty of time since it was still early in the morning. The sun hadn't even rose yet. Varak had stayed up all night finishing his book. "Ko, we have been called to another meeting, one that you can be in. As usual I am going to need you to be..." Varak thought as to how he would put it. "As calm and as quiet as possible. I know that is hard but if you don't I have to make you leave... You follow." Varak said while raising his eye brows and tilting his head slightly toward Ko.

One looked around slowly Inhailing the area with pleasure "Ahhhhhh I love it here, It feels right compared to most places." By this he meant the feelings that the Necromancers, Dark mages and others such as himself could feel in being in a realm that they were the leaders. One most commonly in comparison to everywhere was seen here, and to his pleasure allot of people didn't feel the same way towards him as a mortal he met in a normal city would feel. One was given allot of respect, but he was more Infamous for his lack of contributing Idea's that the council fealt necissary. One stopped enjoying himself and began to walk towards his chmber, wondering if some Idiot had tried breaking in while he was away "Gee I wonder if i should act snooty or not." he joked to himself if he met anyone he may know.
One heald his Scythe over his left shoulder as he floated, the tips of his toes touching the ground gently as he drifted in a quiet manner. Ones eyes were almost closed as he wondered what had went on recently, he hadn't shown his face in over two years, he had no real want to go, he wasn't sure why he came back. Quite often he wondered why he went anywhere, but he remembered everything he did had some sort of purpose or another, if he was here a reason had to exsist. "Ohhhh I wonder how Ameros is!!!" He exclaimned looking out a window toward the abyss of a trench, he couldn't see anything so Ameros was probably asleep. One yelled down at the top of his lungs for the Wurm to wake up, but with little success "Whatever, i'll come see you later fatty" One said as he went back towards his Chamber.

Ko had finished his ghoul and eaten everything from it. Ko left no scraps of his kills and enjoyed it. When he heard Varak's command he knew that taking a less intimidating form would probably be better but he also knew that should things get messy he would need to be ready even though they hardly ever do in the Council meetings.
"Sure but I'll keep this form and should anyone need to be," Ko stopped to think of how to put his next word,"expelled I will be doing so with extreme prejudice."Ko finished with a smile that most would see as a feral snarl on the beast demon's face.

One stopped walking having at long last found his Chmabers, some jackass move them with magic into a lower area of the Fortress, but that was nearer to One's target. He eyed the door with his name written on a faded and rusted sheet of metal the words "Tony Whitelaw" slapping him in the face, he scratched his chin for a moment "Ohhh yes that is my name!!!" He laughed and said "So let see did anyone work out the way to open my door." One took a step back remembering the complex spell that had been put as his lock, he then laughed about the simple way to open it that people wouldn't think of and slammned the flat of his foot dead center into the door. One then proceeded to yell in shock as something blanketed over him.
One stood covered in dust, he also was a little shocked about his reacton but the blacket of dust was so thick he had to shake to get most of it off. "I have to change...." He muttered walking in and his candle enchantment stayed active, when he reach the middle of the room the candles lit up in a circle on the ceiling, the flames burning downwards somehow. One smiled as wax did not drip "It still works!!! the enchantment are all still here." he said very pleased. He picked up a couple of letter from the ground, without reading them he stretched an arm an set them on fire. One looked the window where no light came in, he was about the question that fact when a massive gurgling noise emmited from outside, One didn't realise that his Chamber was only a story above the Dungeons near the base of the fortress meaning Ameros could potentially be right beside his office....and it was, it smealt him and moved itself over to where i last remembered or recognised the scent.
"So you did hear me." One muttered as the gurgling got louder and a massive movement sound was heard. One laughed and said "I'll come see you soon don't worry about it." after he said that he looked around the room decided it was pointless to be their and left.

~Anna Belle & Gideon Anna would come to the front of the Fortress nearest the woods and look up at the height of the towering structure which would strike fear into most from it's menacing look and the occupants of it's halls. Yet here was a home to Anna and Gidoen when they asked for a bed and a place to seek out political dispute. They had fond memories of coming to this place after Anna's ordeal in the desert and had come to find it's halls welcoming rather than a nightmare. The darkness suited them just as fine as the light and they walk forth with a deep feeling of joy in their hearts. Anna would look out behind her to make sure Endora wasn't trailing off again. Truthfully she wasn't sure how the guards or others that may of spotted her would react given her reputation and her origin. Yet the world was ever changing and she wasn't the sole greatest threat to the council. They had other ways to handle people like either Anna and Endora and it was what kept them in power.
" They'll let you in Deathmoon-chan as long as you stay civil and don't take anything that's not yours." Anna would say this after talking to a golum watch guard embedded in the wall, which was connected to a necromancer on the inside. She pass him and turn to wave Endora on to enter the darkness on the inside. Which held little light, but everything stood in a clear softness with what light was visible. Walking on down the halls Anna would give a big sigh as she was finally starting to get a bit flabbergasted from the actual weight of what they were planing to set in motion. Gideon would hold her on the Astral plain and her form would show slightly the touch of her husband. " ..Well now that was a bit of an attack, but I don't have a beating heart so I should be okay, hehe. Endora would you excuse me, I need to go get something on before we go do this and I'll need a n item as well. Please don't wonder off to far from this hall I'll be right back and then we'll head to the councils chamber."

Varak could be found out over looking the Fortress grounds from his study balcony. It was a small balcony, just big enough for to people to stand comfortably. The door to it was arched with a stained glass painting of the Spire of Rebirth positioned above it. Varak had his hood down so that you could see his face more clearly. His skin was pale with blotches of skin that was black and cracked because of lack in moisture. There was a small hint of decay just under the left part of his jaw. What little was left of his hair floated to one side because of the slight breeze. Time was growing near to the meeting so Varak would flop his hood back over his head and walk back into the room. Shutting the two twin doors to the balcony he would look over to Ko. "It is time." Ko would most likely acknowledge with one of his usual sarcastic sighs as they left the study. Again, making sure his door was locked he would make his way down to the Council Chamber. Like all the council men Varak's so called office was close to the council chamber so it wouldn't take long to get there. Of course he would get there a little bit early but this was usually always the case since the council men would usually talk before the meeting started. Walking into the chamber he gestured towards where Ko usually would sit off to the side making sure Ko would remember not to follow him up to the council table. The table was long and curved slightly toward the back of the room. The eldest of the Underseers would sit near the center while the youngest would sit at the ends. Varak's chair was second in from the right. Council member Batoren would already be sitting near the center and another member off to the left. Council member Batoren wasn't the eldest but he was some where in the middle. The other council member was a younger one like Varak though lesser in the fact that the council had gotten sloppy in their "Requirements" for Council approval since Varak was voted on. "I has been a while since I seen that chair filled." Batoren half joked. Changing the subject Varak would reply with a question. "So do you know why the council claims that this meeting is under my jurisdiction?" Batoren leaned back in his chair as the smirk was wiped off of his face. "No. They mentioned something about the relations with the living." Varak squinted is eyes at the comment. The other council member just sat there and said not a word. Varak didn't even know him and truth be told he had even for got his name. "I see." Was all Varak said as he sat waiting patiently for the ambassador to enter the Chamber. The living? Why would I care about the living?

Endora;;
Endora followed the lovers like a good girl, soon to arrive infront of the fortress. "It has been a long time since I last visited here", Endora sighed with a slight smile. "Still, it has not changed a bit", She thought as she arrived to the gates. She gave long glare to the guards as she walked by, lifting her head up. "Even the guards look as dirty as ever", She said loud and clear, then going after Anna again.
Anna excused herself as she said to come back soon. Endora wondered if she really was that nervous about some meeting, but soon curiously started to look around herself. "Like here would be anything to take", Endora laughed, then examining the place closer. "Atleast they can keep the place clean", Endora said as she kept walking down the hall. "No wonder mother did not like this place", She said with cold tone. "Not any kind of service nor slaves to take your clothes" Endora kept scolding the place.
The real reason why Endora actually hated this place was her mothers hate toward this place, that, like everything else was inherited by Endora. She was actually more like reincarnation from her mother than anything else. Endora felt strong presences going through the halls of the fortress, but instead of being there she was here, in dark hall all by herself. "I propably can not go in without her, not like I would want anyway", Endora sighed bored. "God, times like these make me want to torture someone."

Ko was fully satisfied with his meal as his slick black fur was left untouched by the blood he had shed when he was feasting on his prey. His yellow eyes stayed on Varak as he spoke and understood what his master would be asking of him. Many would take Varak's words as just a command to follow but Ko would always take the meaning as something different. It still had the undertone of a follow command but Ko knew that the council had very little love for his master. He needed to be prepared should these foolish Undead try anything that would put Varak in danger.
Ko stalked behind Varak on four legs as he went from the council member's chambers to the Council Chamber. Once in the room his seishou flared as he shifted to a more intimidating form. The brown seishou that encompassed his body morphed into an odd top heavy lump before becoming a seven foot tall, red furred gorilla. Now Ko's eyes where brown and they scanned the room like a predator memorizing its territory. Ko walked to his designated spot and kept himself alert to anything that was going on in the area.
Ko ignored the talking that Varak and the elder council member shared but still kept his eyes open for anything that may be amiss with the area.

~Anna Belle & Gideon Anna had made her way off down the halls to chamber far off to the furthest tower away from the forest. It looked out over a vast horizon and had another nation in it's view if one looked carefully. this room was selected especially by the two for this reason. It was a way to stay connected with the outside when oat home, where only death seemed to matter and life lost it's importance. Though now Anna and Gideon where working to change this, they were determined. Ana would change her clothes and put on an all black robe which seemed o hover as it swept trough the air as she walked around her and Gideons chamber looking for a special item. It was a mirror a simple looking glass in appearance, yet the it held two mirrors and was quite large. If one was to play with it a bit they;d notice that the mirror spun about. Though it's function would remain a bit obscure until it was displaced Anna would tuck it away under her rob and grabbed a few paper she'd writen up as to remeber her notes on the human condition. anna would leave her room with a much more serious tone, her figure hiden by the fold s of the robe, she'd come back to meet Endora.
The air about her would seem different. As if Anna had become another person, which she was capable of in a sense. Yet this was more a change in character. She took her job seriously, and few other things would put her in the mood to act behave with keen sense of her surroundings.she knew too well the men she was to talk to were all noted and respected powerful necromancers and in so many words, people who represented hat haunted everyone, and ruled what was "life" in the Necropolis, death. " Endora would you please follow me we're about to begin. I'd likeyou to stick close to me and please don't speak out to much unless they adress you. I'd like this to go over smoothly."
Anna would walk up to the door of the meeting hall and place her hand on the door shifting her flesh to form a symbol that would appear for only a second before she'd tuck it back under her robe. The large door decorated with the skulls of many creatures, maybe all in creation would slide open and a chiming wisp of sound would cry out as to sound the start of the meeting and the entrance of Anna and Endora. Anna would walk to the edge of a balcony that seemed to hand over an abyss. Placing the mirror from earlier before her it would begin to glow with a purple glow and a light would flow from Anna trough it in the reflection Gideon could be seen with a very serious scowl. Spinning the mirror the image of Gideon would be pulled forth and he'd appear to be standing in the same robes as Anna over the Abyss. The two found it problematic to continually change form in the middle of their meeting so the mirror was able to pull forth the astral and make them slightly physical and visible.
Gideon would Waklk forth to the center of the council chamber and begin by addressing the council men present. " Good evening Gentlemen i must say I am pleased to see that the men who have gathered for this meeting are such well known council members amongst you. I am Gideon Dirge if you do not recall, me and my wife Anna Belle have had been charge with surveying the living. What I wish to bring up about life my lords is it's importance and the need to watch it more closely. I will not bore you with what I have to present to you today so I'll continue. Anna do you want to begin?" She shook hr head slightly to give him the go to start, he'd nod to her in compliance and continue.
" Me and Anna have come from traveling the distance trough the lands of Termina and have come to find that the living are becoming stronger. I'm lead to believe this when the very presence of a living creature can come to twist the existence of an entire region into a hell, we all know of the events in Trance and the dealing with Manerva's presence. To have distorted nature in the way she must hold some power over souls, and to some end I must ask you all if yoi'd believe that living may hold a level of connection with the astral that we lose in becoming necromancers. I'd ask you why did you abandon life? i myself did so because of the pain in the era I was born. The wars troubled me and I felt that death was already eminent. So why not die, and yet live forever. I admit to being foolish in that youthful assumption. Even now the world of the living continue to spin, and for reasons I think none of use can identify by sitting here, stuck in our ways and segregation. We are far older many living and hold things they has lost, yet they hold a drive that the dead do not. I ask you what say you to sanctioning an experiment with the living. " looking up and directly into the eyes of the councilmen Gideon would smile as he'd say. " Would you a man or woman who's heart still pumped warm blood into your home, or live next to you? What would result from such simple behavior, other than it being peculiar since it has never worked before? I'd like to hear our opinions before Anna will continue with the details of all our findings, and an explanation for our current state."
