The show is so fricken amazing and all, but if you could change 1 thing about Death Note what would it be? why? and also, what's youre favorite thing about it. for example:
i'd make L live, cause he's sexy, and i almost cried when he passed. my favorite thing about Death Note is L and his obsession with food.
so you heard my thoughts now i'd like to hear yours

I agree L should live cause not only is he sexy hes smexy wich is even better I dont know what I like best because Ive only read the first one so ya

Well. In as much I do agree that said self should'nt die...Not until I beat the last level of a rubic cube?
As for what I would change...I would make the show longer...It was 2 great minds...Lots more detail could have been put in to progress the story...However...Would it be as EPIC if it went any other way?
I do think that the "one shot" manga of Near vs. C-Kira
should have been animated and longer...possibly played out as well as the BB murder case.
But my lil shouter of 13,11 is only just a kid and never will he take my place...hmm but will he develope a sweet tooth as I? or will he continue to play with his Robot...
Mello...at least you tried to continue the sweet eating legacy
For those who may not know....L-Change the world has been made into a book...(not in english yet that I know of) As for those who read BB murder case may know that the the tale of how L defeated the other 2 detectives Eraldo Coil and Deneuve may be in the works as a book too.

I bought the L:change the world novel and I am amazed at the way it starts out and had to read the first chapter twice to piece it together.
but im glad it was written..to see an L is epic but books hold so much more detail.

Obviously we'd all have L live to the end and be the one to finally catch Kira. I don't think Mellow and Near's characters were as developed b/c they weren't as integrated into the fabric of the story.
It would have been cool to see what happened to Misa after Light died - I mean she traded half her life expectancy TWICE throughout the series to help him - did she just die like 2 hours after the series ended?
I was sad that the show was only 2 seasons long, but apparantly the anime series made for primarily Japanese audiences tend to tell a story and have a concrete ending - and the anime series made for English speaking audiences tend to go on and on.... (Inu-yasha, Kenshin, Bleach). I love both types but the latter can get stale after say, season 8 or 9 wink

The way I see it...Gelous gave his life for Misa when it was the end of hers...So I believe She Got his remaining Life span......Which was probly a loooooooooong time so I do think cutting that long lifespan twice just gave her a regular amount of life ...but thats just a thought...thought it does show her at the top of a building suggesting she may have committed suicide.

It got quiet...no one's talking...I cant hear the voices...I don't even see any new typing here....I'm going to yell so that the noise will break all surrounding glass causeing disorder in my community creating riots that pillage the streets with raving glowstick wearing,long chain necklace bobbing,headbanging rocker moshing people that eventually all gather at public square to sing a Christmas melody... xp

The only thing I would change is L not die,and no Near.Near was cute and all....but he could never replace L.
-actually,my friends always warned me that L was going to die(cuz I would start crying like crazy)and I just kept hoping they were lying to me just to get me worried,and that L would turn out to be immune to the Death Note(which would have been awesome!)...but no.
And,I hated Light's guts,but then I realized,it was Kira who I hated,not Light.When he had the Death Note,he was like pshyco and stuff,and calm-not trying to kill L-when he didn't have it.So I felt bad when he died,he was cute!(I'm not a Light follower,though)
