I want to learn more about playing cards. There are several systems I own that I'd like to get better at. Though because one of my ancestors (Great Grandmother) read playing cards for me it's important to learn and use that tool. I should get back to my meditations on the cards, or start again any way.

Perhaps. Even if I did that doesn't mean it would work for every one. Personally I'm fine with just using what works for me. Though I wonder what using stones would be like.

I use my Spirit of the Wheel oracle. I use it because it speaks to me more than any other deck I have used.

I learned to use it through repetition and a lot of practice. For a long time I used the little white book that came with it. Now I am starting to do readings with out that book.
I created a spread for it that works for me. Though I'd like to get better at the spreads that came with the deck. In the end though I find why use a spread you don't understand fully when one you have works fine for you?

I don't know. I haven't worked with all forms of divination so I can't say if something will or wont work for me. I think that some might work better than others because of the symbology but in general I think all systems of divination are valid to a point. I dont live my life by my divination. Nor do I think any one should.
