Centaurs(potion/legs), satyrs(Legs), trolls(orc potion), goblins(orc potion), Elves(Ears/Potion), Pixies(wings/floral), Sprites(wings). Leave it to the imagination, There are so many out there.
I feel that if we were to Truly start off as a fairy guild we need to include all types of fae that exist.
I also think that we need to go by real Mythology terms as far as Fae origins go instead of The tooth fairy and the other romanticized fairies.
This is merely a Suggestion.. >>;
This might attract more people.
Also I might see about creating a more Natural Banner that fit's Fae that also pops out to people.
And Maybe Making it Private... Though still viewable >>

I agree. We should pull away from more fluffy versions of fae and pull from mythology and legend. We already have a good foundation in the Seelie and Unseelie Courts (though arn't these names copywrited from the Tithe series? >>) and if we build and shape these courts into more concrete things, we can call more attention to the guild. Through events and such maybe?

The Seelie and Unseelie Courts are from Scottish folklore.
Sprites, pixies, and other winged fae are already allowed. But given that this started as a sub-guild of the G.U.N. (and I would still like it to be, if and when the G.U.N. ever gets their act together), and in the G.U.N. such groups like Centaurs, Satyrs, Trolls, Goblins and Elves set up their own organizations, I see no reason to broaden the definition to include every fantasy species under the sun.
Plus, well, I'm kind of hoping less to make this your generic Mythology RP Guild and more actually organizing the Fairies around on Gaia and establishing their presence in the site's community. Which means following more to Gaia's definition, which would be things more like the tooth fairy and romanticized fairies.
The best thing we can really do right now is to keep the guild's threads active. Because while guilds can be nice in their own way, activity within a guild is invisible in the eyes of Gaia as a whole.
Unfortunately, Halloween would have been a good recruiting opportunity for us... if not for the fact that all other event threads got drowned in the sea of "Follow me!" threads. xp I'm hoping the Christmas event isn't like that. Christmas should be the best opportunity for us, period, since that's when the Gift Fairies show up the most.
And all right, all right, I get it. No one likes the shiny purple banner but me. crying I'll see what I can do about making a different one soon.

Personally I disagree with this. I think the guild should be a place for fairies to hang out and plan events and such, but this shouldn't be a beardy plunge into the depths of fairy mythos.
There's so much crap that can be wheeled out as a fairy. Gnomes, Banshees, all sorts. If the guild is to have any sense of identity at all up there with other races of Gaia, it needs to simplify, not overcomplicate.
Too many classes creates division. Division is counterproductive to the aim of uniting people and instilling a recognisable sense of "Oh look, its the fairies!" among the gaian community. We can't achieve that if all we do is dig up hundreds of obscure legends and do our best to stand out from the other fairies.
IMO at least, which doesn't count for much as I'm not that active, I think going down this road will make us more cut off from Gaia and more like every other woodland fantasy roleplay going. I want fairies to mingle with the wider world in an identifiable way, maintain a sence of belonging and not just shut themselves off.
Otherwise we're gonna be a** deep in Mary Sues. "My father was a fire goblin and my mother was a water nymph and I have mastery over the elements and I hate humans because they're polluting the planet and-" xd There's X amount of places on Gaia for that.
