It's probably a bit silly to have a poll like this in a forum for Disney fans, but I figure that some of you out there might still prefer IOA (Islands of Adventure) or Universal over WDW anyhow. Discuss why?
I myself MUCH prefer Disney. I love the Disney characters, movies, and overall 'feel' of the parks a lot better than Universal's. I'm also not all that big on huge thrill rides and IOA is pretty much 95% thrills, while Disney has a lot to offer for everyone (and their shows are A LOT better- well, except for Bill & Ted's at Halloween Horror Nights 3nodding ). While at IOA, I can barely go on anything other than Spiderman, Poseidon, and the Seuss rides. Unversal is fun and all, but it's still not got that overall Disney feeling- yeah, you know what I mean. And like i mentioned before, there's the characters- I'm more prone to get that 'kid again' feeling giving Mickey a hug than Spiderman.
All opinions welcome!

Disneyland all the way. Universal has great parks but they take out rides that are staples of their parks like the ET ride. That's like taking out Small World. Universal to me is a great company but they just seem very sterile to me at their parks.

Disney. I went to Universal a couple of years ago and it was so incredibly boring. I always have a great time at the Disney theme parks, though!

Universal gets really old really fast. I know, I live here. We have passes to both, and I have missed probably at least 10 days so far on Disney trips. Universal has Hulk, Mummy, Spiderman, and nothing else. Splash Mountain is still better than Mummy or Spiderman, and TOT is slightly behind both of them. Too much good all around.

The thing with universal is that they have alot of cool rides and stuff, but so does Disney. The thing with disney is that they have this nice atmosphere that nothing else can have. You always feel special at Disney, exspecially with everything moused out ( biggrin ). I must amit that i do prefer a few universal rides over disney, but I would pick Disney any day!

I've never been to Universal, but it sounds pretty great! Disney's better though, even though I really couldn't say!

I do like Universal because of the movie themed rides and things. And IOA is fun and all, but you can do everything in half a day. Disney gets my vote for the overall atmosphere, and the rides that bring something special to everyone's heart, whether you're a kid or not.

The only reason I'd go to Universal Studios is to see how much it has changed from when I was little, and to go on some of my old favorites. But Disney is always in my heart. It's somewhere I want to go every time I have a day off smile

I think Universal Studios is fun, but I definitly enjoy Disney World better. I've never been to Islands of Adventure, but I'd imagine just plain ol' rollercoasters aren't anything that special.

The Phantom item 666 Disneyland all the way. Universal has great parks but they take out rides that are staples of their parks like the ET ride. Mr. Toad's Wild Ride ninja I prefer the Disney parks more, as there's more variety

Disney.
I enjoy smaller, tamer rides, so I'm much more into Disney World.
Also, I just plain and simple enjoy anything Disney.
Plus, I have this odd sense of..faithfulness to Disney. I've been to Universal but I think if I went now I'd feel like I was betraying my precious Disney >_>.
