We all know that the Overseer and Sentinel have lost their powers. Big bummage you'd say but I think that there's someone that might be able to restore their powers. Not Santa, but Gino. Why Gino, you'd think but I have thought carefully about it. When Overseer took Gino's body as his vessel, some of his powers may have been stored in Gino's body and when Overseer 'detached' himself, that power may still be present there. But even though that power comes from the overseer, it has a uniform 'signature'. That is to say: the source of power that all (demi-)gods use. So both Sentinel and Overseer can use it to restore their powers. But this would like rekindle their ancient rivalry and will use any means necessary to retrieve it. Poor Gino...
Sooo, tell me what you think of this daft theory?

anyways, it might be possible, it wouldn't be the first time they use Gino for something other then restoring another being.
He merged with his father so why not have some left over demi-god powers xd
..then it simply hasn't ended yet

My much more mundane theory/desire is that Overseer and Sentinel start a shop selling armor/weapons together. Overseer deals in defense, and Sentinel deals in weapons.
That, or that even though they lost their powers, they still have to deal with fanatical followers ( lol ninja ) or they have to deal with angry people chasing them. This was, of course, part of a theory dealing with Christmas.
The Epilogue ended so anti-climatically with the worm and all... It just begs for something more to be done with them.
I think your idea is much more Gaia's style. Crazy and wacky and in general putting Gino though a lot of angst. ^^; Maybe he'd go back to being the Masque. XD
