Hiya, folks. = w= New member here.

Aaron's... Weak, for now, but I have a definite path stretched out before him, and someday he's gonna be pretty powerful. Barring certain happenings that could change the 'path' that's before him, his powers will eventually include:

High-level Electromagnetics - On top of being a powerful user of 'Divine Electricity' (electric powers with a blessed 'chaser' that does extra damage against demons, undead, and those evil enough that it's caused physical changes), he'll be able to use that electricity to manipulate ferrous metals. On top of other things he's eventually going to have a 'mecha' of sorts that he'll control solely through the use of this power. He's something of an affectionate parody of HOT-BLOODED characters, after all.

Super-Strength/Endurance - He has a LOT of free energy thanks to a certain quirk of his heritage. He's already shown the ability to manifest super-strength during times of great anger, stress, or willfulness, and eventually it's going to be a passive thing that'll just always be 'on.' It'll be at LEAST enough to carry the humongous sword he'll no doubt eventually wield. And as an affectionate parody of HOT-BLOODED anime protagonists, he'll be able to take a lot of damage before going down.

Invincible Soul - His soul literally can't be damaged. It can still be USED - for instance, if it were trapped, it could forever power whatever dark thing you needed, since it can't be damaged or destroyed via consumption. It also means that his 'will' can never be taken away from him via magic. To 'trick' or 'manipulate' him one has to do it the old-fashioned way - without magic, by appealing to his flaws or by tricking him (not too hard), or by messing with his worldview via horrible horrible Hannibal Lectures.

Weapon Form - Thanks to an event in another roleplay setting, Aaron's already got a level of this, though it's not dependable, and he's fairly blunt about its use; He can't 'fine-manipulate' it. But, basically, he can transform parts of his body into parts of a weapon a Knight might wield OR into a shield, and can in fact transform his entire body into such a thing if he wants to. So far he can only do this for one part of his body at a time and can only do one 'weapon' at a time, and can't do fine manipulation (for instance, he couldn't turn his teeth into the flanges of a morningstar or his fingers all into shortswords, but he can transform his arm into a shield or a sword or a lance, etc).

Oversoul - Sort of inspired by Exalted... Basically, Aaron can call his Soul into a physical, visible form. In this case, it manifests as a giant, ethereal, electrical dragon with feathered wings. His body is still visible within the ghostly figure, but he can't be directly touched while inside it. It heightens his level of electrical power but would lessen his level of finesse with it, and he could also use his 'soul's' 'limbs' to attack with rather than his own body, which would attack with a strength even his physical body doesn't possess. And that's saying something. While his soul is, yes, invincible, when he's in this 'form,' any blow struck against the Oversoul will be conducted to his physical body, so if you were to slice the Oversoul-dragon's stomach, you would see a wound open up on Aaron's stomach while the Oversoul itself would seem relatively unfazed.

And this isn't counting the various lower-level, common-sense abilities granted to him just from the fact he's a Paladin (lie detection, evil detection, ability to create Sanctified zones and destroy 'Desecration' zones, ability to seal areas against evil, smite evil, immunity to fear and disease, and so on).

Again, I feel the need to mention he is NOWHERE NEAR this level of power yet. In fact he still has trouble lifting a sword bigger than a typical longsword and can't utilize electricity at a distance yet, not to mention he only managed super-strength ONCE (and not on purpose), and he has no idea of his heritage, so the Oversoul ability is right out for a good long while.

But I wanted to see what you guys had to say about this. I'm well aware that different roleplay settings have different accepted 'levels of power,' so I wanted to see if you would feel this level to be powerplay.
