I'm looking for a good name for my fictional self. (a mad scientist. biggrin ) At first I tried naming her Dr. Doosleberg, but I found out that there's a character on the show Phineas and Ferb named Dr. Doofenshmirtz. Those to names are just too similar for me, so I've been trying to think of a new name. I was thinking "Nachash" which is the Jewish word for snake because I'm Jewish and I like snakes, but I looked it up on Google and there were a lot of biblical references. So now I'm worried that that name might carry too much negative biblical signifignce. Any suggestions on what I should name my character?

Have you tried searching for archaic names that pertain to alchemy or snakes?

Because modern science was born out of ancient alchemy and the surnames were created around the same times as that was happening.
