Feine Market can be found towards the eastern section of the village. A number of general stores and item shops can be found as well as a few weapon shops. Careful what you buy from some of these people. The salesman here are quite mischievous in their very own little ways. They are known for their treachery and will bounce into the crowd without a moment's notice should they be found out.

Cheville Would walk trough Feine Market glancing at the different wears being put up for display. The Shop keeps and the shop boys and girls in their aid. the people of the market ran around trying to set up the last bits of attraction and what not to pull a crowd of people. Cheville wasn't like most customers, as she would sometimes set up shop here as well, and her home could be located in this district now. Though many wouldn't know this. Even the people who grew up with her. only the Chieftain and his close few. She'd changed her home from her previous in the square. For obvious tragedy and pains she'd rather not pull t the surface of her mind. She'd never forget, but to obsesses wasn't her way of life.

Ludwiga would sit upon her head seeing as far as she could. Scowering the forming crowds of the morning for where the shop would be found. The man whom owned this shop was a frail individual, but he and his little old wife seemed always capable of changing the spot of their entire shop every day. Which seemed to make sense with it's name. "The Roaming Candle", though this shop was small it still shined trough all it's short comings and it's rather unattractive keepers. They held ingredients the world over, yet best of all one had the ability to use their facilities to brew what they wanted. Which would be a benefit due the shops tendency to roam where ever magical hot spots where. It's easy to say that this shop wasn't exclusive to Trace or Feine, but it was at home here and most commonly found here.
"Master ovre here!" Ludwiga would take off towards the flowers before the door. Her master followed her and walked into the establishment.

Kanan made his way to one of the only meat stores that would even tolerate him, and only on specific days. He made his way into the shop stopping all business just with his presence. As the shoppers gawked at him he walked up to the salesman and placed both his hands on the counter separating him and the merchant.

"Give me as much meat as this will get me," he told the merchant of meat as he placed his only pouch of gold on the counter. The meat merchant was no fool to how Kanan did business and decided to play it safe for now and give him what he wanted. As the meat merchant walked up to one of his freshly cut pieces Kanan glared daggers into the man's back. "Don't even try to give me that poor excuse for meat you sell to the regulars. Now give me a good cut and don't think I wont notice if you try to poison it like you tried last time I was in here," Kanan demanded.

The meat merchant walked over to his finer meat and put it in a sack for the overly rude customer. Kanan quickly grabbed it and walked out of the shop searching for a place to cook his food now that he had it.
PostPosted: Fri Dec 04, 2009 12:03 pm

Kanan left the store and tied the sack to his belt so he would have both hands to deal with anyone that decided to try anything. Kanan got no farther than a few yards from the shop when some random kids running down the street playing bumped into him. He knew exactly what they were doing since he had done the same as a kid living with the Venom Gang. He quickly grabbed the child he felt grab at his belt.

As his fingers got a firm grip on the boy's clothes he hoisted the child into the air as if he weighed less than a feather. He brought the kid to his face and growled. The child's eyes were wide with fear as Kanan stared back at him with a look of anger and hatred that many warriors would cringe at. "Tell your boss that the next time he sends kids to take from me I'll gut you and the rest of your little posse before I go after him," Kanan growled out through his teeth. The child could only nod dumbly as Kanan placed the boy down and sent him on his way with the rest of the little brats.

Kanan noticed the glares and stares of many other patrons in the marketplace. His expression never changed from when he was speaking to the child. "What are you all staring at? Go about your business and don't but into mine and things like that wont happen again." Kanan stated to the crowd watching him. He turned down an alley close to where he was standing and found an empty wooden moving crate. Without a care he broke the crate and created a small cooking area for himself. He called upon the spirit trapped within him and diverted the fire from his palm out into the wood. He then took out the meat mentally commanded them to become a makeshift grill and he placed his slab of meat on it. He patiently waited for it to be cooked.

All that was heard was a loud crash, followed by rock and debris that was lifted through the air. The mere sound caused many screams followed by panic by the sudden ruckus. The smoke thickened and there was nothing to be heard, at least for a couple of moments that is. Some windows were busted in the area but not munch was damaged, it except for the large hole in the ground that would be soon to be revealed. Once the smoke cleared there stood a man. His eyes widened and a maniacal grin curving upon his face. "Oh, now you all want to look like you've seen ghosts! I asked where your pathetic chieftain and I didn't get the answer I was looking for. So how about this!" He gritted his teeth. He was getting pissed off with looking for this stupid chieftain.

If they gave him the order to just wipe this place off the map that would have been easier. But no, B-Corp always wants it's captives either alive. "Hm, let's see. Ooh ooh I know!! I'll just cut knock those damn feet of his off for him to get the point!!" He said thinking to himself out loud, almost forgetting about the present amount of frantic faces standing around him. "Damn! I almost forgot about you turds!. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm......Let's say I start off with one of you there!" He smiled broadly, his golden eyes narrowing down upon a small group of shaman next to the establishment known as The Roaming Candle. They were a father, mother, a boy. Strolling over to them he leaned cheek against the boy's and stared him down. "You wouldn't know where the old cheefy cheefy is would you big man.

The boy looked no more than 7 years old, his eyes filled with a hand shaking fear. Enraged, the father lunged himself towards Geist. A loud smack sounded out from the area, the sound of Geist's hand slapping around the flesh of the man's neck, lifting him from his feet. He was pretty sure he had busted the man's windpipe judging from the short yelp followed by the spurt of blood. "Papa!!!!" The child would cried, followed by the bawling sounds of the mother who would continuously scream, "We don't know anything!!!" But only thing that escaped the father was gurgling sounds. The man's windpipe was severely damaged and the blood trying to escape was being caught off by the tight constriction around his throat. It could be seen that the mother and father was one of the shaman warriors of this village. It was his eyes that betrayed him. The sheer loyalty for his village was what gave him away. It reflected in the child as well. Damn loyalty. It was like an infection. A disease restricted them from telling the truth. A disease that held them back from saving their own lives. It was geist who held the vaccine to kill this disease known as loyalty.

"Loyalty this..loyalty that...honor..Screw that, I have a cure for you!!." Geist said looking over to the mother and boy. And with those words he crushed the man's neck, dropping him cold body at the feet of his family. In one moment their loyalty and honor was crushed. An answer here and an answer there. Villagers were shouting answers from all ends. The wife instantly fell to her knees, sobbing over her dead husband's body. The boy only stood motionless. His unblinking eyes stiff, and dead to the world. But Geist had no time for games or funerals. He grabbed the boy by the neck in the same posture as he did the father and glanced over at the mother. "Your move baby." The woman looked at Geist with a hatred like no other. Her straggly dark dreads falling from each side of her face. "The Chieftain Pavilion is near the lake!" She answered him coldly just before spitting at Geist's feet. Satisfied with his answer, he freed the boy from his grip. "Is that all I get for curing you? Aww that makes me so sad." He said sarcastically before kicking the woman in the jaw, instantly knocking her out from the impact. "You're lucky I have somewhere to be." He chuckled before spitting on her head motionless head. "Now that I think about it, I think I passed up the chief's place on the way here. Ah well, my mistake." He shrugged.

Kanan was dragged away from his meal as he observed the spectacle a random man caused. All he did was shrug and continue his meal. Each and everyone of them were lower than dirt to him so why should he care who lives and who dies.

"At least that guy has more sense than those morons that live in this place. And good riddance to the chieftain, pompous old man," he spoke to himself as he continued to eat his meat and enjoy the spectacle the man created mentally thanking him for a change in his otherwise dull life in Trance.

Myles Million ducks into a tavern just off of the Market and puts some coin on the counter. "I need a tall shot of elven mushroom wine."

The barkeep looks him over. "Sure ye don't mean a thimblecap, kid? That stuff bites back."

Myles leans in and says, "If you'd taken a walk off the edge of Orpheus this morning, you'd need a tall shot too."

The barkeep doesn't react or even change his expression. He just says, "Ayup, that's a tall shot," and serves it up.

Myles takes the shooter and tips a bit to his mouth. The instant the potent stuff touches the skin of his lips, it hits his bloodstream, the few drops in his mouth causing his tongue to spasm a little. Elven mushroom wine is a sipping drink if you're a normal human. A gulp could be a fatal shock to the system, which is why it's usually served by the thimblecap if you've got round ears.

Inside The Roaming Candle

Once she Walked into the Roaming Candle Cheville was greeted by the owners own White Spotted Owl, Greaves. He was a strong figer whom stood watch over the shop when the old man and his wife were busy or distracted from work. Though if he was a familiar like Ludwiga was a mystery. As with many things the Candle held. Chevile would give a nudge to send Ludwiga over to keep Greaves company, passing him and her to the back. the Isles of potions, ingredients and books would seem like miles as she continued on shifting her gave looking for the old shop keep. She hear a sound from behind a little section of the shop cornered by a desk. behind it was a pile of bones that had something rummaging trough it. She'd call out," Old shop keep is that you, or your wife?" She make her way over to see a head pop out of the pile of many creatures bones, obviously from numerous places.
The Keeper of the Roaming Candle

The old man would pop his head out to face her and hold a smile as his shaky wrinkled hand hald a book. A Grimorum it seemed, but it didn't matter to Cheville. She'd come to get a job from the keep in gathering ingredients again. She'd taken to doing so to feed herself and her Familiar, when blessing crops was out of season. So in short her food was skidish and she needed to eat.
"Old man what's Iggy doing on your head. You wizards from the lost age are to free with these creatures." When she'd mention "Iggy". She'd be referring to the small Dragon or Dragoon creature on the Shop keeps head. Yet the truth behind the creatures species was a mystery. The old man would laugh and wiggle his way out of the bones. Waving his hand at Cheville to call her to the front with him leading.
"Well how has it been Little Cheville? You've come again for food or money, hehe. I've seen you here too many times for the same reasons. Huh, I wish you'd come to see use sometimes, though it may be to much for a old man to ask .

As the two made it to the front they'd spot Geist doing his mischief and Cheville would shrug and say to the old man. "Well the world is the same as always, so I continue to do the same. Like that Ellios for instance. I bet his future will be tied to some great revenge to kill the man over there. If it wasn't so typical maybe I'd flinch, or maybe give a damn about the pains of the people." The old man would look on a bit more concerned than Cheville and put down his book as he looked on.
"Okay, I'll give you a reason to get involved. I'll pay your rent and food expenses for the next month if you prevent that mans wishes."

Cheville would begin to walk away from the Old man and the Candle when she'd yell back to him. "Okay old shop keep, but this dosen't change things. It just makes the out come more interesting before it ends in the most typical of fashions! I'll be back for my money!" Walking out past the boy called Ellios among the villagers, Cheville would send a glance at his mother in a utter disgust.
"You call your self a part of Traces Shaman Guard, che. Get strong and teach the boy, to follow his oaths in life." Changing her focus to Geist she'd send out a breath of flame just to get his attention.
"Hey pin head, would you mind curing me of that loyalty? I seem to have missed your point." With a flick of her head Ludwiga would fly from her shoulder and Cheville would draw her wooden pistol from on her holster. Firing at the White Owl sending it to the ground, but just before it hit it would shift and transform.
"Oh, did I say I missed it I meant We. Ludwiga the Coveted Witch!"

Ludwiga would come forward with her body and wings with a light luminance. She'd begin to fly with the movement of her wings. The air surged in all directions around her. She'd come to speak, "Master are you sure, I'm don't know if I should even spit on this scum. Though.." She'd clear the distance with a powerful wind edged punch at Geist's face. Clearly capable of demolishing the side of a stone building in entirety. " I don't like his eyes."

It seemed the village still had a few idiots left that he neglected to cure. But this new shaman chick seemed to have a new disease. It was called stupidity. Something Geist couldn't pass up. Of course he could have just gone about his business and gone straight after the chieftain, but this is Geist we're talking about here. As the woman yelled her idol threats, he would dig his pinky finger into his left ear as if annoyed by her voice. By the time he rose up to glance at her, the collision of the familiar's fist and his face had created a shockwave throughout the area. Geist's body went soaring into one of soaring through the window of one of the nearby shops, causing the rest of the building to collapse upon his body. For a few minutes nothing happened. Only the sounds of people running in panic and muttering frantically amongst themselves. That's when it happened. An explosion followed by an uplift of glass and broken plywood, sending many splinters and shards of glass flying towards the girl.

Standing amongst the rubble was Geist. The golden pair of eyes leering towards the shaman girls like bright headlights. "Now that's what the hell I'm talking about, let's get this s**t started. Forget the chieftain, I want you instead." This was an opportunity for Geist. It wasn't the first time he went off-mission for the wrong reasons. And like always it was for his own satisfaction. Geist began walking towards the woman with his both hands in his pockets. In an instant without notice he would dash towards her with one hand clutched beneath his stomach. From his hand a tainted purple would emanate from it followed by a shift in the gravity around the woman's feet. With the flicker of the other hand a large spears of earth would jug up from around Geist. With great force he plugged his fists into the bases of each one, using them as boxing gloves and driving each end of the earthly spear edges for the familiar's ribcage. "Let's see what's inside of that pretty skin of yours shall we?!" He said grinning crazily.

Kanan really hated this place right at this moment. The woman that had given the crazy man an unbelievably strong straight punch to the jaw that sent the man into the building he was eating next to. The collapsing building was something he was not pleased about.

He quickly thew his meat away from him and activated his chains. He created a dome around himself with nearly all the length of chain he had. As debris fell onto his makeshift shield a voice he hadn't heard in years made its presence known. "Tear them apart. Show no mercy. Burn this place to the ground. Burn. Burn. BURN!" The raging voice exclaimed.

He was shocked that his inner demon decided to rear its fiery head today of all days. "Well isn't this an unpleasant surprise Demon. What have you been doing for these passed few years? Waiting for the right time to strike?" Kanan asked the voice inside his head. The debris that had fallen on his shield was getting heavy and he did not know how long it would take for it to fall and crush him but he was to distracted by Demon rearing his head to really think of something.

"LOWER THE RUBBLE ONTO YOU SLOWLY MORON OR WE ARE BOTH DEAD!"Demon roared causing Kanan's head to hurt more than it was from the strain of trying to hold his shield up. "Fine but after this is over you are going back into the deepest darkest recess of my mind." Kanan told Demon while he took the demons advice and lowered the chains slowly to his body bringing the full weight of a few wooden beams and large chunks of stone onto his body. As he retracted one chain from his shield he saw an opening if he could just move one of the wooden beams blocking his way. He concentrated Demon's power into his hand and tried to compress it the best he could and then let it loose blasting the wooden beam away in a fiery inferno.

He quickly rolled out but slammed his head into a big pile of rubble right outside of where he was. He did not really care where he was right now all he cared about was that he was alive and his chains had not broken under the stress of those building supplies that decided it was a good time to fall on him. He sighed as he retracted his chains and had them wrap around his arms making makeshift arm guards.

Uri was walking about the streets of the Feine Market when he herd a larg crashing sound and some yelling. Well that cant be good. Accelerating his pace he moved to where the noise was coming from. Pearing around the corrner of a building it looked as though he was just in time to see some woman get bludgeoned by some guy with a rock. Careful not to involve him self he stayed put and watched from a far. looking up to half clouded over sun he shifted his mask a bit. God only knows what would hapen if clothing got torn. It made him sound like a weakling but it was the truth.
PostPosted: Sun Dec 06, 2009 2:27 pm

Meanwhile, Myles was in quite a state. Having used a bit more coin to have his hip flask filled with more mushroom wine, he is now picking his way carefully through the market.

He doesn't weave or slur. Myles Million is an eloquent drunk.

"So, what exactly does this whole... arrangement mean, anyway? That I am, possessed, or some sort of... thing like that?"
"Possession implies invasion. You invoked me, and gave yourself to me. We are now together."

A boy behind him attempts to cut his coin pouch. Some part of him, without consulting the rest of him, reaches casually back and snatches the knife, then stows the pouch in his pack. He looks at the thin stainless steel buck-knife with an expression of extreme confusion, then closes it and slips it into a pocket.

"You should take a deeper drink of that stuff. I want to taste it better."

"It does have an exquisite flavor, but I'm in no mood to poison myself today, thank you very much."

"You'll be fine, I've been fortifying your body. If I'm to share it, it'll need to be sturdier."

"My dear sir- madam- whatever you used to be! I'm not at all sure I am drunk enough to take such gross abuse of my person in stride!"

He then takes a deep pull off of his flask, savors it, and swallows. After a moment's thought he adds, "All right, that's better."

And then a man gets flung into the building near him, and it collapses.

"Ah. And I thought I was having a difficult day. A jot of perspective is always nice."

((Hey everyone knows I'm using my familiar, right? some dialogue has got me confused on if you guys do or not.The Familiar ))

Ludwiga would Smile in satisfaction of slamming her fist into the obnoxious villains face. She'd turn back to Cheville with a look that was clearly seeking approval of her feet. This wasn't the case with her master, but the old Shop keep of The roaming Candle did give her a warm smile. She was happy with this and was about to walk back to her master when she herd a booming noise from the ruble that was Geist's resting place not too long ago. Her body would spin about to face him her eyes leering at his figure and the annoyance of his survival. She was sure he would of died from that or been put out of commission for awhile. Yet would appear that her mission her maser had put her up to was more difficult than a simple "one hitter quitter".
"Ugh, why are you sti..." Just as the released Familiar would come to the end of her exclamation. She'd be faced with a onslaught of the earth variety. Of coarse it would go with out saying that she didn't like heavy things so the weight of his move rather than pulling her down, made her quite pissed. Not to say some effect wasn't felt.

Cheville would become a bit board with the visual and find her self a seat in the Candle. She'd begin to put herself in a trance like state to induce her astral form and seek out a clearing for the two battle happy nimrods to continue. Though Ludwiga was her own Familiar, she had a personality that was vastly annoying when in released and much to opinionated for Cheville's tastes. Therefore, she'd keep her locked away in her animal form. This lack of quality companionship bothered Cheville, but only on slow days. Which were most.
Finding a clearing with her astral form, Cheville would telepathically tell Ludwiga to move the fight there, if she could. By way of the seishou that was constantly flowing to Ludwiga from Chiville. Yet the amount that is given is controlled, and taken if needed.
"Move to the Wood's. You're to much trouble here and he looks like the destructive type of buffoon."

As Cheville would tell Ludwiga this, the familiar would be tryin g her hand at dodging and deflecting the brawling punches of Geist. Not easily taken mind you, but her wings would act as shield with the wind wrapping and coating them in defense. Cushioning his blows. She'd calmly fall back with him moving towards her, and once she'd realize how stupid it was to stay on the ground when someone use's earth abilities. Ludwiga would start to use her hand and the wind to slightly hold and let Geist punches move to her side. Once she had a good chance she'd spread her wings and fly fifty feet into the air.
"Bleh~! You'll have to get up here to hurt me! I've got to say you fight well, but a bit too showy don't you think! If you could fly you'd be perfect!"

Cheville would look on feeling the urge to shot her own Familiar out of the sky, but for the sake of eating she held her composure. With a nod She'd telegraph to Ludwiga to get give Geist more incentive. The winged girl Would dive bomb down at Geist and build a tornado like gale around her person. Slamming down to the earth that Geist was standing on. The attack would send dust flying every where, but Ludwiga would have just bounced right back into the air. With whom following, who's to say.
" I think I've got him good this time Master!"
Cheville would have already moved and been next to a pub in the distance trying to get her self a drink with some loaned coin. Simple ale was her thing and she'd taken to drinking when bothered with things she didn't care for. To show support she'd give a tumbs up while tossing back her hefty mug.
" Wooo, your so valiant. We'd never see such a great champion as you Ludwiga. Oh my wait, I have."
PostPosted: Sun Dec 06, 2009 4:08 pm

Kanan was not pleased with the people that were fighting but he personally did not care. He knew only one thing, staying in the marketplace would not be beneficial to his health so he opted to get out of there as fast as he could. He got to his feet and started to jog down a few allies he knew would lead him away from the fighting and out of Trance. Kanan thought at this time the safest place would be Wickia Woods.

Watching the woman take filght surprised him, he didn't notice the wings at first because of his lesser vision during the day. Looking back at the man that was doing the beating he noticed somthing out of the corner of his eye.
"Thats him!" The spirit yelled. "Thats the Fire Spirit!"
If the Ice spirit had been in physical form when he spoke his last words Uri's ears would have been ringing. He now had a head ache however nobody else could hear the Ice Spirit. Thats him? Uri questioned the Ice Spirit.
"Yes! That him, follow him" The Ice spirit commanded.
