When it comes to anything ghost related, a lot of people make stories up. But sometimes you just get a feeling the truth is being told.

Well, I heard a story at work I would like to share that is interesting.

I have a friend at work named 'Dylan' and he says he doesn't know if he believes in ghosts, but they surely don't scare him (unlike me who is terrified of them)

He was sleeping at his cousin's house, he had to sleep in the basement and one night, the kids toys turned on. Like a kids piano began playing notes with the lights going on. Like anybody who wakes up in the middle of the night, he didn't think much of it.

He thought the batteries were simply dieing and it caused it to go funky. so he kicked it and said "shut up!" and went right to bed.

But in the next morning, when he went to look more closely at the toy, there were actually no batteries in the toy at all!

He talked to his Uncle about what happened, and it turns out people including himself have heard things in that house. Things like kids giggling and talking, even toys going off.

Is it possible my friend encountered the ghost of a child down there who was simply interacting with our world?

Or did the toy really go funky and the batteries fell out when my friend kicked it?

I dunno, but it sure is paranormal to me

I have some family up in Pennsylvania, way out in the middle of nowhere where all of the houses are well over 100 years old and about to fall apart as it is. My cousin up there lives in a neat little place in the middle of a super small town- they're population caps out at 400. Anyway, point of the story, she swears up and down that every once in a while a soldier-ghost will frequent their house, and walk up and down the hallways like he's confused as to why someone else is in his place. She's told me a million times that he must have died at war, then come back to find his house sold and family gone. Super creepy, but just about everything in that town is old and creepy.

Thats creepy! 0.o

When i was a kid me and my friend where playing in our sandbox. the sandbox was made out of an old bed frame. so it had legs and stood up about a foot and a half off the ground.

Well we were just having some fun maing a little city in the sand.
we were minding out own business when all the sudden the sandbox lifts up about 5 or 6 inches and slams down on the ground. With enough force to break all of our sand castles...

We ran like ******** hell xd

eek

That's crazy, how old were you then? I don't suppose there were any explanations or anything for that, ie random minuscule earthquake or the likes?

omg that is soo odd. It's like, I didn't realize the supernatural could have that much strength.

Yaa they close doors and move lights the pictures on the wall but something like that would be heavy

Well if you believe some of the lore, some spirits can be quite violent. And have been known to throw furniture across the room, or even people.

But the bed with the sand in it and everything probably weighed at least 300 pounds..

But it slammed down pretty hard, we almost fell over. XD

Creepy, story is creepy. I've never had any paranormal experiences as of late, but I'm sure I've seen some petty odd stuff. Shifting shadows, movement in the corner of my eye late at night when I'm the only one awake. That's why when I wake up in the middle of the night, and I'm home alone, I cover the mirror so I don't see a ghost over my shoulder, and close the bedroom doors, (I sleep in the living room) so if I hear on of them open and I'm not the one opening it, I can get the heck out of the house. I'm not one of those retards in the scary movies who hear a weird noise in a dark room and decide to go and investigate.

thaat is disturbing.
dead children? that just makes me so sad
not to mention the fact that they're still hanging around. now thaat's just scary.

creepy things don't really happen to me. when i was little, though, i had deja vu a lot. like, at least 5 times a week. i didn't get what was happening until i figured out i was dreaming what the future would be. i never remembered the dreams though; i would just recognize the scene. kinda freaky. it stopped for a long time and recently started again.

Dejua vu is the worst. Seeing things replay in front of you and being unable to change what is happening drives me up the wall. It feels like you are trapped in someone elses body. It happened quite frequently when I was younger...

I realized as I got older it feels so weird because you saw the choices you would make anyway... and at the same moment, experiencing the deja vu. *brain explodes*

If you have started having it again, you should keep a dream diary...

i'm not usually afraid of ghost stories. i believe that if there are ghosts, they wont hurt us.
optimistic, i know.
but stories including children just scare the hell out of me, no matter what.
