After reviewing the first page of this guild I've become increasingly aware of a lack in music topics, specifically ones pertaining to your choice of.
This makes me slightly interested in said subject, now tell me.
What are you listening to, right, this, second.
Is it good? Maybe post a few lines of lyrics for us. Include some info about why you like this band or song, tell us something~
Let's all try to have some kind of meaningful posts, If you want to spam song titles go join UFG, they have a great spam the song you're listening to thread.

I am currently listening to "Bad Habit" by the Dresden dolls.
It's a slightly eccentric song about cutting your wrists, I believe there are only two instruments in the entirety of the song- piano and drums.
The lady pianist/singer sounds less like she's playing her piano and more like she's stomping atop the keys crushing millions of tiny spiders that only she can see~ poor girl.
It works for her though, it does.
"biting keeps your words at bay tending to the sores that stay happiness is just a gash away when i open a familiar scar pain goes shooting like a star comfort hasn't failed to follow so far..."

I'm musicially uninspired, I uh, am listening to the nice humming noise of my computer fans, with a regular clackety of my keyboard as I accompany the hum with an irregular tempo.

Uh, currently it's Morphine - Yes from the Senior Trip ST.
Um, I guess it's kind of funky Jazz? i'm not entirely sure what's it's about, but seems rather motivational for a female about indecision about what to do with her life.
"Yes yes yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes
Yes yes yes yes Yes
Yes
You can't decide what to do with your life You just don't know where to spend your time Just don't know what's to do Just don't know what's right for you If you can't decide what to do with your life Just don't know where to spend your time If you can't decide what to do with your likfe
I'm sure you'll do whatever's right I've always know you to be incredibly
bright"
And after that one it switched to Roads by Portishead from the Tank Girl ST. Yes, I'm a soundtrack girl <3
Um, don't know what this one is about either, but it always reminds me of an epic furture battle on a burnt sky covered desolate broken rock plain.
"Oh, can't anybody see, We've got a war to fight, Never found our way, Regardless of what they say.
How can it feel, this wrong, From this moment, How can it feel, this wrong.
Storm, In the morning light, I feel, No more can I say, Frozen to myself.
I got nobody on my side, And surely that ain't right, Surely that ain't right."
I just copy pasted those ones. If I tried to write them out as I listened it'd be to the next song by the time I did.

This ******** second: Rammstein - "Te Quiero Puta"
Yes, I AM aware what that translates to. Yes, it is Rammstein singing in Spanish. Yes, it does rock hard.
In general, I like MSI, Radiohead, TV on the Radio, Portishead, the Deftones, codeseven, Disturbed, Vast, and Pink Floyd. Among other things.

The music I'm hooked on right now is by this one guy, Verb-1, he's in a group called The Earthtones and he's a good lyricist.
The group is good too, they play jazzy type hip hop which I'm fond of because it's hip hop from the soul.
This song by Verb-1 is called Blessings, and the music is really lounge/jazz/hip hop so it's chill music.
"The way I'm living everyday is like sessions of learning life's lessons searching for the answers for death in all of life's questions. Absorbing the things I can from the elders who help the mental progess from adolesence to a spiritual man. The days of youth I went to school every Sunday to learn about the ways of navigating through this jungle of life, and how to make it to the path of understanding and see, that as I grow I'll break the chains and be eventually free. Then fly high with the whole choir singing, an uplifting feeling replenish my inner being it's a beautiful thing, exactly what God planned for me, knowledge and wisdom for free and positively be a true MC.
Ultimately it pays to understand the very reason why we journey this land We provide a source of light for the children, every man, every woman with the patience and the vision to enhance the way of living, that's right. Standing in front of the gates with a microphone, pen and pad my first step is my second home. Because I know where I am, and I breathed, and I've sinned, and I'm blessed and it's clear the road is rough?.but I'll get there!"

How inspirational! Songs like that remind me of those people at laundry mats who lean over and just start talking about their lives, kind of like I have a sign that says I WANT TO KNOW YOUR MORALS AND TRIBULATIONS PLEASE, PREFERABLY VIA LYRICS AND SOFT MUSIC.
To them I almost habitually respond with a polite smile and then quickly make with the ducking behind of a washing unit while seeking out the best make shift weapon for hurting the crazies.
Now that's a run on sentance!

Now that's a run on sentance! Was that an insult? XD Actually I never visit laundromats, so things like that would remind me of going onto the Santa Monica pier and passing by some crazy evangelist preaching with something on the floor covered in a blanket with shoes sticking out and what looks like either a very malnourished person or a model skeleton under that blanket. The boardwalk is not church. It's the wrong place and time to be preaching about crazy things D:<

The people in my dorm building have implanted the music of Moulin Rouge in my head, and there it has stayed for the past... twoish months.
So a combination of Your Song, Elephant Love Medly, and Nature Boy right now. 4laugh All at once. And all sung along to. xd
The woman I lo....loved, is dead.

I'm not sure, you tell me~
Actually the general public is a great place to yell about things that excite you! If I have a delicious confection I want every one to know, everyone! Just replace my confection with Jesus and you have your self a happy fellow with a freshly baked messiah to rave about. (not a jew joke~).
Also malnourishment is the new nourishment says the tel'ovison~
