Well...there are lots of things we can discuss. And I'm bored.
I'm into video games. So I wouldn't mind hearing peoples opinion about the Xbox 360 now that it's been released. Anyone here who actually has one at home? ^_^

Drevlin Well...there are lots of things we can discuss. And I'm bored. I'm into video games. So I wouldn't mind hearing peoples opinion about the Xbox 360 now that it's been released. Anyone here who actually has one at home? ^_^ I'm kind of upset about the new release, actually. sweatdrop Now they'll start making all these games that won't work on my Xbox (which is only a year old sweatdrop ), and I'll be sorely tempted to buy the new system... crying

X-box 360? Not me. I'm not intrested in the system in the least as its features & current game list doesn't appeal to me. While the PS3 does sound pretty damned good, I'm waiting for Nintendo's Revolution.

I'm an RPG fan---and thus a PS2 fan---so I'm looking forward to the PS3. 3nodding I don't play much Nintendo (though Smash Brothers is fun if you can get enough people), and the Xbox I origally bought solely so that I could play the game Fable... thoght MechAssualt2 has been fun as well.

I haven't got one. And I'm not thinking of buying one either. I don't think I like the console too much, it's not that special. And so far it only has one game I REALLY wish to play, and that's Condemned: Criminal Origins. That game seem to fit me perfectly.
But I'll be waiting for the PS3, it's stong but the main reason is that I've had PS1 and PS2 so I can still play my games and so on. So even if it wouldn't have been the strongest of the next-gen consoles ,it would have been my choice. Also I look forward to the Revolution just cause the controller is something new. I look forward getting used to something new and not just "another control". ^_^

Not to mention Revolution will be backwards compatable with GameCube as well as you can download games from NES,SNES & N64(though I hear they're not free). The console password protect can block kids from playing M rated games even if they get a hold of the title which hopefully means more M rated titles will be made for the system...
I really don't know what titles PS3 will have aside from MGS4(love that trailer someone showed me at my college) but from what I've heard of the system's capabilities it'll be a tough act to follow. I hear the games'll have more pixels than even an HD TV can produce on the screen or something.

Nintendo I'd say dominates when it comes to multiplaying at home. This was key in N64 & GameCube but online play kinda negated that feature. Nearly every gamecube title I own has a multiplayer option even if it's just a vs simple mode.

Fun and strange games. Especially with their new controller. xd It is true the PS mostly has really good one player games. But who knows, it might change now that the PS3 actually has seven controller ports. eek I know atleast the PS3 will have one good FPS, Killzone 2 seem to be quite a game. But Xbox probably has the best online functions. 3nodding

I know the controller looks strange as Hell but so did N64's when I saw it & I consider that one to be the best when it comes to FPS(gotta love the Z trigger!). I just hope a first person sword fighting game will be on the system. 3nodding

Actually ALL THREE consoles will have that password thingy parents can do so their kids won't play games that are to bloody and such. 3nodding PS3 will probably have many games for me to buy. Gatz look at it this way. Now yuo can have an Xbox360, and a Modded Xbox for custom Halo Content. Just don't go online with it. O.o!
And Aonice has obviously implied she wanted help making these threads.
