The days were short, the air was cold, but Mach didn't care. This was one of the days she was allowed to wander outside to her grasses to play and collect. She'd tried out so many grasses to figure out what the best ones were for pains and aches. Her mother called her a 'little healer' and she was beginning to think she was right.
Today, she was sniffing at some leeks. They smelled wonderful! Maybe she'd collect them and bring them to her family to eat tonight. Maybe, maybe. Humming softly to herself, Mach's purple eyes were soft and happy, reflecting the greens gently. Her tail curled around her as she sat on her haunches, head bobbing slowly to her own music. Nothing could spoil her good mood, not even her evil siblings!
Despite knowing about half of her siblings were either evil or mixed, the little kit could care less. Just because they looked that way didn't mean they acted that way, did it? To be honest, Maccholz didn't spend a lot of time with her family. She was always by herself doig her herbal care.

Dustyn sighs as he floats though grasses using his ability to steal the green off of them. He envied all the colors in the world, so he in his small fit of rage takes them all. In hopes that others would feel like he feels right now; alone and out of place in the world.
"Stupid colors..." He mutters under his breath.
He continues on floating aimlessly using his abilities to make himself feel better about himself. Dustyn floated by the purple without noticing her at all and had turned the leeks that she had found into a pale grey that didn't seem like it could be eaten.

When the beautiful green leeks turned gray, Machholz blinked. The smile disappeared and she sighed softly, tossing them to the side. Naturally she was curious as to what made them turn to gray, so she looked around and spotted a gray ghost. Blinking rapidly, she backed up into the tall grasses and followed him.
Mach didn't realize that she stood out in the pale gray grass, because she didn't know of any Wish that were ghosts, or gray! Her whole family was purple or blue purple. This was so queer for her! "Why'd you take the color?" She whispered to herself, head tilting to the side.

His left ear twitches as he stops mid-float in the grass. Dust turns slightly as if to acknowledge the purple kit standing in his gray world of grass.
"It is because I am angry and sad, little one" Dustyn sighs as he somewhat plops himself down while floating in the air.
He slowly swipes his paw on the earth as the area turns grey. Then a small smile appears on his face as a memory flashed before him, but it disappears once again.

She eeped as she was spotted and then bit down on her inside cheek, coloring darkly. She was glad she had dark fur, otherwise he'd be able to see her blush! Watching the ghost plop down, she stayed a comfortable distance away, unless he stole her color. That just wouldn't do!
"Why're you angry and sad?" She said after a moment of thinking, getting comfortable in the unusual gray grass.

Dustyn finally turns to glance at the kit who question him again. He grins and chuckles a bit before answering her.
"I am sad...because I have lost someone very important to me..." A sudden breeze went pass the two. "...and I am angry that because I lost my original colors after I died. So now...my beloved cannot find me, so that I can finally move on..."
The grass around Dustyn started to change color again, but this time was used to make an image of a heart.
"You know. Its been a while since I have talked to someone. Mind if I ask your name?"

Maccholz watched as the grass turned gray again, in the shape of a heart, while listening to his story. In her childish opinion, he had every right to be angry and sad! With a nod to his question, the little one moved to get into a better view for him. Twirling around in a circle, she was trying to be cute, the purple kit smiled widely. "I'm Maccholz! I was named after a comet, I think. Or a star. I don't remember which momma told me," it made her pause and think.
"What's your name?" She didn't know how to comment on his color loss or the loss of his loved one, so she didn't. Momma always said if she couldn't say something nice, don't say it.

Dust smiles at Maccholz as he watched her twirl around.
"That is an intresting name. Your fur certainly live up to it." He could not help himself to giggling.
"Anyways Maccholz, my name is Dustyn. What brings you out here?" He nods to her with a grin on his face. The grass slowly took back its green color, leaving no evidence that their color were even stolen in the first place.

She giggled at his giggle. A smile lit the kits face up when the grasses color was given back and she moved over to inspect it, sniffing at it. "You can give it back too? That's so amazing! I'm learning which plants are good for what aches and pains. I also know a few grasses that are really tasty!" She said, puffing out her little chest proudly, ears flicking.
Really, Machholz was easy to please. It didn't take much to get this happy kit to smile and giggle.

Dustyn hadn't felt this content in his life. He figured that its because of the Maccholz being innocent and all. He wasn't sure.
"Thank you, but I don't give it back. I steal it back, because grey is a color I can steal." A small smile came upon his face. "And that's great that you are learning about herbs. There aren't that many that want to learn about plants." Dust nods knowingly at her.

"I know! None of my siblings like plants like I do," she said mournfully, as if they were missing something major. Her smile didn't leave her lips though. Maccholz was confused on how he stole gray and the green came back, but she didn't comment. Maybe it would make sense to her on day! That's all she could hope for, really.

"Your family is lucky to have you then."
Dustyn tries to pat Maccholz on the head and realized that he was still a ghost and his paw slipped though her body. Oh, how he wished that he was alive today. He sighs in defeat.
"I wish that my family knew about herbs, then maybe I might be alive today." Dust's eyes drooped a little.

"I'll work on a cure for you!" She said, after she'd shivered and inwardly freaked out that a GHOST has been THROUGH her. ....In a way. Getting up and shaking herself off, she gave the adult a big wide smile. "I promise! Even if it's only so you can touch others! I'll try." She nodded hard and then giggled a bit more, tail flicking happily.
"But until then.... are you livin' close? I mean.." she cringed. He wasn't living. Hopefully he knew what she meant.

He looks at the kit strangely at first, but soon smiles warmly at her intentions. He wasn't sure on how she was going to do this. He couldn't eat, drink, or breath any of the medicine that she might come up with. But in the back of his mind he knew that this world is full of possiblites.
"Thank you Maccholz, that would be the greatest thing you could give me. And yes, I float around here since the graveyard isn't too far." He nods happily as he thought of being able to even touch things again.

Mach's smile couldn't have been any bigger as she giggled and bounced in place, excited about starting on this cure that would probably take her a life time. She would do it! She had no doubt. One way or another, he friend would get to feel things again, like the grass beneath his paws. Tail flicking this way and that, the purple kit giggled again and turned around in an excited circle.
"I can't wait to start! It'll be hard work, but I could make all the ghosts happy!" Such a simple little kit.
