This is the first guild I have been a captain of. (and only guild). Is there any advice more experienced guild captains can give me?

my advice to you is to NOT go overboard with subforums >.> wait until their needed, and you have enough members to activate them...
crew areas are important to have, so good job on that =3

XD when I got my first guild I bought like 15 subforums and now I can't get rid of them ._.;

Your guild looks like its off to a very good start. In order to keeps members, have special events planned and make sure the events are unique, not repetitive. Keeping members is the hardest thing to do, next to finding active members. Becoming an affiliate with another guild is also a good idea. For you type of guild, I would find a roleplay guild to affiliate, because roleplayers need their ooc.

Make sure you keep an eye out for inactive members, or at least give them a way if you haven't already to tell you when they are going on vacation/ can't be on gaia and active. That way if you have to do a sweep of inactive members you don't accidently lose them.

I think you're off to a good start.

Just try and make sure there's things to do. As your guild grows, you'll get a feel for what kind of subforums and stuff to have.

You're not allowed to delete subforums or what? o_O

But yeah, I hate creating subforums that aren't needed. I only put up subforums if I'm 100% sure about it since I think they kinda get in the way.
