A thread to discuss/post Ganryu's top ten moves
1. df2:-11 on block/JG when hit
even though not safe anymore I still believe it is a great tool. If you df2 and finish it of with the 1,2 finishers it is safe, but they can duck it of course, use that to your advantage. Keep throwing out the df2 1212 until they start ducking. So when you throw df2 out they might duck and bam you get your df2 or a mid, its up to you.
Does that sound right to anyone?
2. standing jab:+3 on block/ +9 on hit
I'm not an expert of that game and I have not taken it as serious as I am now.
But I don't think you have to be a genius to know that a standing jab for Ganny is fantastic. Just hit them with that jab and follow it up with something, get in there head. I use it to keep the pressure on my opponent.
3. df3:-15 to -14 on block/ +5 on hit
Good ole df3 that low no one sees coming. In DR this move wasn't safe but they couldn't launch you, I don't know about that, but thats what I heard. But apparently now in T6 on block this move is launch punishable. I am also hearing this move pushes back on block, so I'm confused how this move can be good if it pushes back but launch punishable??? Some one please tell me. But enough of the bad things, this is an awesome move. Great for mix ups and does a good amount of damage. I do believe it's safe on block at max distance.

8. df2+3
9. df1:-5 to -4 on block/ +6 to +7 on hit
One of my personal favorite moves. To me it's a quick move and gets the job done and it's safe. Another move you can use to scare your opponent
10. d4/db4 - both have their pro's and cons.
