Life seemed to just fall into place for her. But, with her new schedule, she had a hard time finding time for her friends, something she dearly wished she could change. Right now she was just thankful for the chance to be herself. It had been quite a while since she had used her Senshi powers, but she was grateful for that. Meaning that evil had finally seemed to be abated. Peace could be attained now. Or so she hoped.
Minako had decided that it would be a good day to spend outside, in the sunlight of summer. For the weather on this June 17th was just spectacular. She was at a very familiar park, across the street from the Juuban Shopping District, where she had once spent many a coin in the Crown Arcade Center. She would have to visit it today, but right now lunch was awaiting her.
Packed in a cute little box were some of Makoto’s famous riceballs and some Chicken Okonomiyaki. To drink, she had a juice box reminiscent of her school days of grape juice. She was sitting underneath a large cherryblossom tree, wearing some short-overalls and a pink tshirt. Her hair was pulled back in her red bow and her eyes were covered in some big, yellow sunglasses. One would hardly recognize this twenty year old girl as Aino Minako, the boy-crazy Senshi of love if it were not for her giant red bow. It was her signature item. She never left home without it. And since her recent success, it was becoming a trend.
But despite it all, she still sometime missed the weekly Senshi meetings and daily study sessions over at Rei’s in order to pass their exams. Of course, she and Usagi missed about half of those study sessions because of some cute boy. And Makoto had her share of boy-huntings. Finishing off her last riceball, Minako glanced around. It was time to go visit Mokoti at Crown. It had been ages since she had played, what was that game? Oh it had been forever since she had played it. But something was rather important about that particular game, she was sure of it. Shrugging it off, Minako disposed her trash in a recepticle and started across the street to Crown Arcade Center.
What was it about the game’s name that she needed to remember? Something very important, she was sure of that. Perhaps it would come to her when she got there. The street was rather busy, but Minako dared to j-walk it anyway. Who used the crosswalks anyway? If you could book it, you’d live. And so, narrowly missing a car that was turning onto the street, Minako was across and right in front of Crown Arcade. With a smile, she took her sunglasses off and propped them on her head. Things hadn’t changed as she took a step in.
Her eyes scanned the arcade. Where to start first? Where was that game she couldn’t remember? She was just a bit distracted by the racing game she swore to beat all those years ago. Perhaps now she could do it. One round. Fishing in her pocket, Minako withdrew the correct coinage, sat down in the driver’s seat and started the engines!

It was all ready. The board had been set, the pieces in play and all that was left to do was take the queen and checkmate the king. Apsu was an aging woman. Even with the powers of the Ginzuishou of Neo-Queen Serenity, she still would die. An uncurable disease was inflitrating her bloodstream, leaving her weak and helpless. One thing would save her. If she could possess the great power of the Ginzuishou, she knew that it would heal her.
She spent many years harnessing metallia-esque energies and increasing her power, but nothing more could prolong her life but the crystal that the Silver Millenium Queen had. And now she had the resources of youth. Five teenaged girls to do her bidding. To succeed where she had failed. Sin, Nabu, Marduk, Nergal and Ishtar. Her Opposite Senshi. Their first mission. Destroy the Senshi of the past.
Her soldiers have revived a great queen. Beryl. To get a chance to kill the Senshi once more. “Opposite Senshi! Appear!” Apsu called into the darkness of her palace. One by one, figures appeared in the darkness around her. A moment of silence and then a voice broke through, a girl, no more than 15 with blonde pigtails and red eyes. “You sent for us, My Queen?” She asked. Apsu nodded and coughed slightly before speaking. “Is it set?” She asked. Another voice, older, more mature spoke this time. “Yes, Our Queen.” Apsu coughed again, “Sin, Marduk. You are so powerful now. As well as you all. Nothing will stand in your way.” The girls bowed and Apsu sighed, “Go and fulfil your new destiny!”
The girls spirited away, only to reappear in the dead of night, hovering above present day Tokyo. The five girls looking around, sensing for the energy peak. The girl with the blonde pigtails seemed to be the leader. She was Sin. The opposite Senshi of the Moon. To her left was a girl with short blue hair, she was working on a small computer, analyzing data. Nabu was her name, Opposite Senshi of Mercury. Next to Nabu was a rather passionate girl with big black hair. Nergal, the Opposite Senshi of Mars. Then there was the mature-sounding girl. Marduk, the Opposite Senshi of Jupiter. And last was another blonde, Ishtar, the Opposite Senshi of Venus. Soon, very soon, there plan would be put into action.
“There.” Came Nabu’s clear voice, pointing to a point of energy off to their left. “That’s where she’ll come from. And we can watch from the tower next to it.” Sin nodded. “Right. That’s it then. Showtime starts at sundown.” And with that she spirited away, followed by the other girls. Queen Beryl would rise again, searching out the Senshi to destroy them and reclaim the destiny that was lost to her all those years ago.
