When someone decides to rip them out...

That happened to my friend recently...

He can't get surgery until December 11... and it's been like that for a few days now...

That's why I'm only getting little gauges!

He was at and inch and a half!

First of all, they're not called "gauges". rolleyes Gauge refers to the size of the jewelry ONLY, it's a unit of measurement. The process of enlarging the size of your piercing is called "stretching", so you have "stretched earlobes", or any other piercing.

Second of all, why was he letting someone close enough to his ears to "rip them out"? Are you sure he didn't stretch improperly and the skin just gave way?

why aren't they bloody looking if they got ripped out? they wouldn't heal like that in a couple days, it just looks like he stretched them too much or improperly.

did he get in a fight?

Yea, sorry for not being technical, but that's what they're called where I live... kind of like how some words in America mean something else in England even though we use the same language...
