1+3=left hand grab
2+4=right hand grab
Every character has these basic grabs which can have its range extended by using f+1+3 or f+2+4 at the cost of being a bit slower. Grabs are high's and are unblockable. I believe that all regular grabs do 35 damage. If a grab is done on someone from the side then it will do more or less depending on the character. Same for the back. Each character also has command grabs such as yoshi's qcb+1+2 for rainbow drop.
As for grab breaking, 1+3 grabs (left hand) are broken by pressing 1 before the animation goes through. 2+4 grabs (right hand) are broken by pressing 2 before the animation goes through. You can tell which it is only within a couple seconds. The character will lead the grab with the hand that you need to break with. If it is both hands extending forward at the same time, it is a double break (1+2).
Here is a website that you can practice grab breaking on because imo its a necessary skill to be good in tekken.
