The ancient Kingdoms of Osiris and Orion have been fighting for over a century. They were allies at one time, but then the king of Osiris, Kanre,began to turn against the kingdom of Orion by stealing jewels and other precious things. For revenge, the King of Orion, Xenox, planned attack, and stormed the castle of Osiris, killing Kanre's army, and only a few survived....Now Kanre has hired mercenaries and assassin's to kill Xenox's son, Ryu...The other kingdom has retaliated as well. Xenox and his army plan to kill Kanre's daughter, Fyren...But who knew that Fyren and Ryu would become a team, and try to end the war? As a mercenary, Kindom of Orion pays more, but Kingdom of Osiris is known for giving rare and valuable items

Right now, myself, Cobalt Pegasus, am watching over this thread. However...not many of the roles have been filled yet, and so we shall continue to rp and perhaps others will join in later, and the premades can be filled.

Outside of Orion, near a small pond, sat one of the elvish race, discerning. As with all elves, she was tall and graceful, although she seemed troubled. Her simple yet effective bow looked forgotten, tied onto her back, with her quiver of arrows strapped around one of her shoulders to fall to the side. Lasca was sheathed at her side, and hit the ground slightly as Fiora sat, near the edge of the pond. Looking down at the crystal clear water, the elf could see herself reflected in the pond. Blue hair and eyes of nearly the same color, pulled back with a decorated barrette that she was unable to recall who had given it to her. Her long ears pushed out noticeably from her face and away from her hair. Fiora sighed and then looked deeper, able to pick out pebbles fallen to the bottom of the pond, along with small, green vegetation growing up from the sandy bottom. Smiling slightly as her eyes caught two silver colored fish, she leaned back from the pond to fall back against a tree.

Her shoulders heaved slighty in an empty sigh. A lot of things these days seemed hopeless, but that didn't give her reason enough to give up. Leaving her family and people to help these kingdoms had been a big decision, and so far her search had been fruitless. If anyone asked, she was on Orion's side, but really, she would like to help them both, even though that threw many obstacles in her way. Slowly, Fiora closed her eyes, though still alert. She needed a minute to collect her thoughts.

Arrich was leaning back against a tree listening to the wind rustle through the leaves with his eyes closed, there were people talking nearby and he couldn't help but listen to what they were talking about, but learning nothing of interest he tuned them out and gazed up at the clouds lazily drifting by.

"And suddenly, out of nowhere, comes the Phoenix of ultimate destruction! Whoosh!" Kari's voice was light and cheerful, as she picked up her brother's carved phoenix toy and flew it through the air to knock over another wooden toy that resembled a dragon. Her younger brother sat next to her, and laughed in delight as she flew the toy around, eventually swooping it around to land on Mason's head. He laughed again, nearly falling over as he held his stomach. A bit a drool escaped from his mouth and Kari smiled, wiping it away and standing up to brush away some dust from her clothing.

"Kari, up!" Mason said, but Kari picked up some of the wooden toys and wagged a finger at her younger brother. "No, Mason. We have to clean up first!" Mason smiled and picked up the rest of them, depositing them in his new toy chest. Their father worked as a sort of carpenter, selling furniture to others, and even making toys for Mason. Once they were done, Kari picked up her brother and went to their kitchen, where their mother sat, going over their herbal supplies.

"Hi mommy! Kari played toys!" Mason announced in delight as Kari set him down and he raced around the room. Their mother smiled and then absentmindedly returned to her list. "Kari? Would you mind helping me out? We're running low on a few of these herbs...mostly rosemary and sage. Could you pick some up for me? They're quite bountiful in the forest nearby." She said, not looking up. Kari smiled and picked up a basket near the door. "Sure! Mason is all yours!" Kari said cheefully as she went outside and to the forest.

Once there, she hummed to herself, looking for the plants that her mother needed. "And what have we here?" Kari said, bending down to inspect a small plant. "Nope...not what I'm looking for..." She said, continuing on.

Fiora was still thinking, leaned up against a tall tree, when she heard the noisy footsteps of someone coming near. Opening her eyes and standing up, she looked around until she saw a figure coming. When she recognized the person, she couldn't believe it. "Kari? Is that truly you?"
