Thousands of years ago, the Elven city of Barrowdale was burned and massacred by the Elves of the Comrade Rebellion. The Elves, along with a little help from Praide's Human army, were forced away from their beloved home and migrated south where Praide and the Elven leaders built Merwynth City from nothing. The Elves of the Comrade Rebellion came to be known as Rogue Elves.A thousand years passed, and the vicious Halfbloods, offspring of elves and Syrens, decided to take their revenge on the rogue Elves and attacked the already ruined Barrowdale. The Rogue Elves were forced to migrate north to Erimarsh Swamp, where some say they can still be spotted.
Barrowdale is inhabited by the Halfbloods to this day, and travelers who decide to take a shortcut too close to the ancient city are rarely seen again. Those who do return are addled and unable to remember even their own names.
