Charlotte stood on a branch overlooking the town. It felt odd, being as she usually sits on a balcony and overlooks it. How dull. She thought. Doesn't anyone go out at night anymore? She heard a snap of a twig. Probably a human. She heard a hiccup. A drunk human. She jumped onto another tree, trying to get a glimpse of the human. It was two collage kids, one was a fat and drunk male and the other was a skinny, sober female. "Dude.. that was an awesome party." The fat one said, slurring his words. "Yeah." Charlotte studied them carefully. I've never had drunken human before... then again, I'm too young in this world to even have alcohol. She jumped down onto the leafy ground.Maybe I should lure the sober one away then scare and eat the drunk one. She took a stick and threw it at the woman, which was the best plan she had. The woman looked around. "Ow. Who threw that?" Charlotte rustled some bushes. "Stay here, Mike." The woman said. "I gotta set someone straight." She, foolishly, went into the bush. Charlotte sunk her fangs in and drank all her blood immediately. She screamed then slowly died. "Mmm. B negative. Not as good as A positive, but just as delightful." She whispered to herself. Now, the fat man was afraid to be alone in such condition. "Megan!" He yelled. Charlotte came out. "Oh, Meg, you scared me there."
"Sorry." She answered. "I'm not Megan." She jumped on his chest, and sunk her fangs in. He fell over two minutes later. She got off him. "Just what I needed." She smiled, whiping the blood off her face. "O positive." She turned to the woods and ran off, not even looking back to see if she was being followed.

Vondel sat silently for a while. The girl that took residence in his treehad fallen asleep but he was still wary of her. She was a vampire of course but so was he. Vondel slowly dropped his dead human with a loud 'thud' and swung himself around the tree till he was face to face with the vampire woman. "Why hello there. You seem to be sleeping in my tree." Vondel smiled.

Vondel wasn't going to give up that easy. He was in the mood for company sence he had so little other than his choice meals to fill the years. "Hey now, I didn't say you had to leave or that you offended me." Vondel jumped from the tree and landed next to her. He kept an easy stride, matching hers. "So whats been going on lately? Ive neather seen nor heard from any of my kind for..... well a long time. I kinda want to catch up a bit." Vondel smiled and almost laughted at how weird he sounded. He was definetly too much aof a hermit.

Charlotte kept running, even though she knew no one was following. Stop, stop, stop... she kept reminding herself. I can't remember how long it's been since I ran so fast like this.. then it came rushing back to her.
1924, London.
She was just a superior at the time, but she kept wondering how she became a priest if she started so low. Then, somehow, rumors of her began to fly. They were saying that she, the poor sweet innocent thing everyone knew, was telling a vampire hunting family their whereabouts. She was shown to the humans as a vampire and fled as they all came running with crosses and fire.
she never wanted to remember that. That was the day that felt like it was too much of a nightmare to remember.

finally, she stopped running, and casually strolled into the neon-lighted town, hoping not to smell of alcohol and blood. [[the picture I posted here and my skeleton picture are different, I do this once and awhile to fit the mood she's in. Just a bit of a heads-up.]]

Vondel laughed. "I am very good at hiding. One has to be when one was once hunted. Lets just say I wasn't the most popular in the clan but was the strongest...." Vondel stopped himself abruptly. He did knoiw if she knew of the clan. She most likely did and that alone made her a threat to him. Better not to speak about it. With out missing a beat he changed the subject. "I see you were tence when I confronted you. Been in many fights with our kind lately?" The sun had always bothered him. The damn thing was too bright and wasn't very good for hiding. But at least humans felt safe in the day and were not overly wary.

Vondel looked after her for a while, trying to fight the urge to follow her. He hadn't had someone to talk to for a long while. But, Vondel shrugged and walked in the other direction. Now that his need for company was awakened he sought out a sutible companion. The humans were no good. Never liked them much anyway. Some were worthy of being turned for a compaion but Vondel wasn't in the mood nor the state of mind to make one. So he trugged on again and untill he sented another one of his kind. Vondel immeditely hit the ground and invaded her thoughts. After a moment he was sure that she knew nothing of him and that he was safe for the moment. Just as she would pass him by he steped out directly in her path, with arms up of course. She was blond and young, but years mattered not to their kind. "Hello there, you seem to be in a hurry. Might I tag along for a while? Im bored and haven't talked but recently to one of our kind. But even that was fleating..." Vondel stopped and waited for a reply. His arms were in the right place in case there was a fight and he constently tased her thoughts for anything hostile.
