Well, I was making a battle system for a Naruto roleplay but, I occured to me. Would anyone join? The Way I set it up, it makes all thing possible, and anything that you have seen on tv can happen. But, it takes quite a lot of explaination to9 and typing for me) in order to understand everything. So I would just like to know which dose everyone prefer?

Well, I'd prefer something simple and understandable, but depends on what you have in mind. e_e;

I don't really think we need a battle system.. I think it would be fine if we just role-played and the other person just be reasonable and get hit sometimes, because nobody's invinsible.. Unless you're like.. dead or something.. That's the way I've always done it. And if your character had a second move coming [like a follow-through], then just say something along the lines of: And if [person] gets hit, then blah blah blah..
That's how I've always done it..

That's how I've always done it.. Yeah thats how Im used to doing it, but the problem is noone has a limit. Most people dont want to lose so its best to just some boundarys and guidelines. That did help me decide though, thank you.

me try both?? i dont really know..i mean... well.. i dont know all of the moves of charectes and stuff, ya know what i mean right? you know, this one friend of mine at school knows the hand signals for kakashis lightning blade? and a bunch of other moves..it was allwsome.. ^ ^ mrgreen

woah.. first post was made in december.. not even sure if you're still looking for comments.. xd I'll give them to you anyways..
I think it depends on the crowd and the number of people you're trying to recruit.. if you want a more literate RP, those kinds of people are usually more willing to learn and read up on an RP battle system, whereas if you wanted a more relaxed RP, then I would go without it, or if you really wanted to include a battle system, make it much much simpler. 3nodding
I've actually got drafts of an RP battle system myself, I just haven't had the time to implement and test it out yet.
