i want to know if anyone know what would be a good course for game development. today the school have this community college thing which was for people like me who messed up and wanted to pic classes at the college. i saw that computer science had the things needed to make games so i signed up for it. what do you think would be the best course for game development. i know alot of people here want to be into the graphical part of it, and it is basically the best part, in my opinion, because of the life you can create with just a stroke of the mouse. the only thing is this computer science course only has one class on anything graphical and so i was wonder if there are any other courses that people know where i can learn to improve my skills. yeah i wrote alot. sweatdrop did that make any sense?

Wow, a new person...
It would make more sense to me if what you wrote was acctually structured and grammatically correct. sweatdrop
From what your saying, I figure that your saying that you took Computer Science, but there was no graphical aspect and very little game developement. Comp Sci is Programming made to sound pretty.
I would suggest taking an actual Game Developement program, they do exist, especially here in Ottawa Canada.

Well, computer science is definitely an excellent first step if you're interested in doing what I do; that is, sit on your a** for hours at a time typing code, and repeatedly testing one miniscule part of a game to make sure it works perfectly. Yes, I enjoy doing this. 3nodding 3D animation is another class I'm in, and from what I've seen so far, it's got quite a few useful applications to it, one of which is in 3D games. That's a good way to go if you're more interested in the art than the science. And, of course, you could always check for schools that actually have a "video game design" class. wink
And I'm not sure what courses DeVry offers, but it's definitely worth checking out. I hear nothing but good about them.
